Ok I was supposed to watch this saturday, but didnt, so I begin tonight with Episode 1, Serenity.

30 mins in, sort of quiet...

You heard the man! The first half hour's not attention grabbing enough! NEVER SHOW IT! Instead, show episode 3, then 9, then 4, then cancel it when it somehow fails to catch an audience.

It's worth it in the end, mate. I'm a latecomer to the show as well, and felt slightly the same way, but it draws you in.
Then the last, uh, 15 minutes? The shoot-out and then the pilot dude flying the spaceship, those sections rock like a *************.

Still haven't watched any more eps other than the pilot, mind you.

Don't forget to change the timeslot each week, forget to tell people and then when you do advertise it... cancel it in favour of sports!

So its the wildwest meets space - not to bad, bit cliched so far, some of the dialouge makes me cringe. otherwise its had a few moments, next is episode 3.

Im still watching, but hardley inspired in a battlestar galatica/babylon 5 way as of yet... I know they are different but blah...

The show had me hooked by the third episode. This counts the pilot as one episode, though.
