From 27 Feb to 16 March, I'll be off for my annual military training and pretty much offline. I checked the last time, and lurking isn't an option for the period either, so just make sure you change the newspapers under TF: BoB every evening.

OK, two things to report:
Next year's training starts early, in January, lasting for three weeks yet again. Gaah.
The War Journal is all ready for posting (it's a process involving rereading the scrips of paper I wrote it all on, however much of it survived the mud, then typing it all into Notepad). So do I keep it all in this thread or start a new one with the proper title?
EDIT: Ok, it's done. Mods feel free to close this one.

So is there an age limit for this compulsory service? Like once you're X years old, you no longer have to do it?

They go by number & length of tours of duty rather than age. Once you've clocked enough they write you down as 'MinDef (Ministry of Defence) Reserve' and that's when we're done with it. Should be soon - some of our folks have to reschedule due to work commitments so they're the ones who wind up doing it longer.Shanti418 wrote:So is there an age limit for this compulsory service? I'm seriously thinking of bringing a Gundam to build during the slow periods.
