If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Stan Bush and TFs on radio 2
Post
by Scraplet » Sun Jan 29, 2006 2:28 am
Anyone listen to Dermot O'Lery on radio 2 today? He was interviewing that knob from The Darkness (Justin?), then they started discussing the TF:TM soundtrack and then he played 'the Touch' - on BBC radio 2!
Fantastic. I now like Mr O'Lery a bit more, and will learn to tollerate The Darkness a little because they are Transfans. Maybe
Oh no, just had a thought - this could be a calculated plan; what if they are gunning for a place on the new movie soundtrack?

Sounds cool.
I always new O'Leary had impeccable taste - his favourite band is Elbow.
Shame Justin Hawkins is so full of himself.

Sorry - should be more clear! They played the original Stan Bush one. Justin hawkins (that his name - cheers Spidy!) claimed it to be one of his favourite songs. Nothing more than that. I was just amazed to hear it on mainstream radio.......

Well I'm currently employed to work on the site, though the contract runs out in March. Whatever happens I'll still be doing the show tho.

Apparently you're banned from the building. Happy slapping Anne Diamond is apparently
not cool.
