If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Well folks I just finnished my first term, its been an utter culture shock, I found that young ppl scare the **** out of me, and i know alot more.
My leet 3D skills are very popular at coursework time and its helped me make friends.
Today we had a presentation, scare the total crap out of me, which is stupid because I have to give presentation for work all the time, but these guys a re younger and scare me for some reason. anyhows, with that out of the way it was down the pub.
So ive had an okay first term, lots of work, met some ok ppl, learnt abit about myself. its gone quickly.
Okay i lie I have to exams left but tech, im done.

Eight years on from graduation and I find I miss it so much that I can become quite resentful when faced with a student who appears to be having a good time. I much prefer it when they look miserable.
Bloody Students!
Glad its going well, Impy. Enjoy!
(and best of luck with the exams!)

Glad to hear that it's not been so bad, Impy, truly. Going into situations like that can be totally scary, everyone else always looks like they're finding it easier, even though everyone's in the same boat. Cool that it's went well for you.
Good luck with the exams.
And congrats, Rebis.
