Went out for drinks, got a bit jolly, came to the conclusion that our local is becoming a sellers market so will now have to brush up some lines.
Tonight, doing roughly the same.
Oh, one thing that was cool, I had the dvd of ghostbusters on, once it finishes it goes back to the menu - this is a looped motion menu with the theme tune, so I had that rattling round my brain constantly as I slept. had some pretty inspired Ghostbusters dreams last night off that!
This once happened to me when I was watching Donnie Darko. That was just messed up.
"come closer. Closer. Clooooooser. Wake up Donnie! etc."
weird.

I went to a wedding of a friend of mine.
The weather was horrible: storm, rain, hail, etc. Luciky it was inside.
It was very non-traditional: no white gown, no church. And it was not done by some random guy from the registry office / city hall, but by Sinterklaas! (the dutch version of Santa Claus, much cooler, and on the 5th instead of the 25th)
After that reception and buffet, but I was soaked thanks to the rain and therefore in a pretty bad mood, so we went home early.
Lots of sleep, yum. And a very nice morning.
Tonight: roleplaying with some good friends. Going to buy some healthy snacks now.

Lately I've been designing a browser game, a bit like Urban Dead. Been spending most of my nights in front of the computer with a spliff and look of almost perpetual frustration and/or confusion, followed by brief moments of joy when the damn thing does what it's supposed to.

I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

It's really hard work - I'm having to input each square on the map at the moment, and to give it any kind of scale the map of Earth is 450 x 230 blocks - which gives a grand total of 103,500 blocks. So far I've done something like 7,200 blocks which gives me a fair bit of Greenland, Siberia and Canada to wander around in. And ocean. Lots of ocean.
Anyway, last night I added another 900 blocks to the map and some more alt-modes for the Autobot cars. Tonight I'm going to have a crack at combat, though I also need to start adding weapons into the weapons table. I might have been a little over ambitious in my brief as I really want to have 6 planets to space-bridge between (Earth, Cybertron, Lithone, Nebulous, Junk and Quintessa) but it looks like Earth will take me so long to build I'll have to leave the space bridge technology out for now. That or have every planet look like Earth but in different colours, which would be rubbish.
Speaking of which, does anyone know of a map of Cybertron? Is there one in the Ultimate Guide?
