Your favourite century?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Your favourite century?

What's your favourite century? Mine's the 20th, easily. I hate this one, though. So far the 21st has turned out to be a complete turd :x

I enjoyed the 9th Century best, myself.

All that rape and pillage. Ah, happy days...

The 19th century was clearly the best. It had the Duke of Wellington. And his horse.

Any century was a good [well, sorta-nothing's all good] one- for a man.

>.<

I quite like the one I was born into. But the 15th/17th-ish currently has a lot of appeal for me. I'm obsessed with pirates right now for some reason.

The Renaissance, Shakespeare, literature, learning...I feel it's the point where our culture first started to develop.

Which dating system you using, then?

Personally I think the 51st century was quite fun.

Now the 41st centuary was clearly the best, those happy days of afternoon tea with the Embodiment Gris, ploting the destruction of Earth...

Changed my mind. The 93rd Century, with the Terrible Zodin was much more fun.

This reminds me of that cartoon themesong by Tom Jones. "Duck Dodgers in the 24th and one-half centuryyyyyyyyyyy!!!!" I love that themesong. The cartoon's not too bad (but not the best).

It's somewhere between universes rather than in a particular timezone.

If I was that good at cricket or snooker, I'd be playing professionally!
