Civilization has eaten my life!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Civilization has eaten my life!

Agh!

Acquired Civilization IV on friday... load it up and the next thing i know it's monday morning and i got to go to work! eep...

But it is so gooood... Civ 3 was a bit of a dissapointment, but Civ IV is totally rocking! (after i got it working, "DVD not found" my arse! thanks gamecopyworld! :))

They've gone and impleneted religion into it now, so as well as the whole "culture" thing of Civ3 you get religious stuff going on... and i can tell you, from what i've seen so far, it's been the biggest cause of wars (apart from the Romans who just seem to hate me) so it must be quite a realistic bit of coding! ;)

Eat my mighty Buddist catapaults of doom you Christian Aztec pigdogs! mwahahaha...

I've had periods of having both Civ 2 and Civ 3 eating up my life, so if and when I eventually get round to getting Civ 4 that will probably do the same. Mind you, I don't really want to have to boot into Windows, so I might wait until it's known to run reasonably well under Wine.

:)

I used to play Civ 2 quite often, which was great fun.

Maybe I'll buy Civ 4 when I buy a new computer.
