I just read that they found a snake on a plane in Switzerland!

Partial translation for non-Dutch:
Plane evacuated because of snake

A Swiss plane was evacuated before take-off today in Zürich because a snake was found on board. The owner of the snake was a 20 year-old Russian who had accidentally let the animal escape. Because the 25-centimetre long reptile could not be found...something about the luggage? don't know what a toestel is...something about the passengers leaving on another plane? The plane with the snake on board was filled with carbon dioxide so that the animal was killed. The complete cost of this incident will probably be recovered from the owner of the snake.

very good! How did you learn that?

The missing part is that they loaded all the luggage and passengers onto another plane (= toestel, in this context).
