Why has Rammstein forsaken me?!?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Why has Rammstein forsaken me?!?

Their new CD came out in Germany last week. The international release dates list features just about every country I've ever heard of...except the US! There's Rammstein music being listened to be people that I've not yet heard!

Kudos to them for bashing the US in their last CD then not releasing it to that country for their next one, though. Shows some principles on their part.

Maybe its just that they have a deal with a different label in the US, who uses a different distributor, or something? That's quite common if you're not signed to one of the monster monolithic record companies.....Sony or Time Warner.

If thats the case, there usually is a differnt release dates for the US, Europe and Japan.

Thats just a suggestion tho - I know nothing about Rammstein, other than that they are German fetishists who wear a lot of black....
.... maybe it is deliberate. :)

The US has had two or three out of twenty+ Wildhearts releases.

Distribution sucks ass in other directions too, which is why I keep track of exchange rates.

Conversely, you get a band like Sevendust who have been signed to the same label for four albums, yet only the third one gets an UK/european release. Everything else you have to buy on import. Why do it for one album?

Word is that Best Buy computers have it listed as December 13th. Think I'll import.
