And it probably will be this one:

:):)
Thing is, there are other cameras in that price range that are slightly better (3x optical zoom instead of 2x, optical viewfinder instead of just the lcd screen), but this one looks so nice!
Not sure about the colour yet.
Anyone has experience with this one?

Ha! I got one, but it's another one.

Had to decide between very good looks, or one with better performance. Wasn't too hard in the end.
It works fine so far.

yeah that one is expensive - I was thinking perhaps a Fuji SLR would be good value for money.

Think its about £250 - not sure what your budget was, but I can recomend that camera alot, its very good value for what it does. its sort of like the bottom of the pro range - but to be honest the pro range offers very little for the amature.
Its nice u can stick different lense's on these camera, good zoom, good macro, light balances, multi shot. fast auto focus. nice design.
just an idea.

Looks nice!
I was not really looking for a professional camera, just for holiday pics and other occasions. 250 pounds is a bit more than I was prepared to spend. Plus all those lenses don't fit into my handbag.
My budget was around €200-€250 but I ended up spending a bit more (€300) to get one that had better specs.
And you always have to buy the extra memory card and maybe an extra accu, so that has to be added to the overall cost.
I still have my 10-year old camera which has only a flash button, and manual rewind etc.
Maybe if it turns out that I use this new one all the time, I will upgrade to a more expensive one.

I had a problem with one camera that was so light it was impossible to hold it steady enough to take a picture....not good.Eline wrote:But some of the non-pro cameras were so small that you could not even comfortably hold them in your hands! And I have small hands.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
