Submit Questions for Religious Bigot!

My college is hosting a speech by a former occultist this Thursday. The posters are all dark orange and feature satanic and pagan images. At first glance, it seems to be a lecture on pagan/alterative (to christianity/judaism) religions. However, at the very bottom of the poster (in VERY small print) is the sentence, "presented from a christian biblical perspective." I went to this lecture last year and was a bit unprepared for the Q and A from this intolerant ass.

From his perspective if you practice yoga, collect pretty much anything, play D&D, are not a devout Christian (that includes agnostics, atheists, etc), are gay, etc, you're not a good person.

Any questions you can come up with to help me trip up this SOB would be greatly appreciated.

Last year he said that Satan could not possibly be as powerful as God as God is the creator and a creation is never as powerful as the creator. I told him about a friend of mine that builds semi-trucks. He's the creator of those trucks, but if he and his creation were to meet from opposite directions at full speed...

I wan't speaking for everyone I was giving my opinion.

And my point wasn't about not participating, I was happy to participate. I just adressed a point with Smooth recent trend of topics, he agreed and I gave my opinions on the matter.
This lead to me elaborating the point to (hopefully be helpful for the smooth one) say he should not let religious idiots get to him or waste his time.

A passage from the bible quoting Jesus about tolerance, loving your enemy and not judging others?

If they sidetrack that or argue against it you know for sure that they are a f##king waste of existance, so just mock him or don't turn up to any of his speaches and have fun at yoga with a gay friend.

If you want to feed your obsession, Smooth, the Newsweek article about Mormonism is actually impartial and informative.

Anyway here's some questions (a tad late but still):

1. Commiting suicide will send you to hell, and letting somebody die eventhough you can help is murder. But what if you sacrifice yourself to save somebody else? You'd still be killing yourself

2. A question on evolution and creationism, are you with people who support Darwin's theories or are with that group of people who cling to those backward superstitions that have been obsolete since the dark ages?

3. What's better, to do good things out of your own free will or from fear of going to hell?

4. So, let's say that there's a tribe in the South american rainforest that's not been discovered yet. There's no murder, jealousy or theft in that tribe. And the people are generaly nice, will they go to hell because they don't worship god? Wouldn't god have sent them some signs of his existance if he really was that powerful?

5. Do you believe that witchcraft exists?
- If the answer is yes, then just laugh at him and ridicule him.
- If the answer is no, the claim that he isn't following the bible closely and that he'll be going to hell for doubting.

6. Aren't we all inbreds if Adam and Eve were the only two first generation humans? And where do people of other ethnical groups come from? Did Adam and Eve's offspring evolve into different groups?

Back on topic, quote the pope to the guy, since the pope said (I'm not saying the exact thing) that a member of ANY religion can go to heaven if he lives his life according to the Bible without even knowing or thinking about this. We used to harass our theology teacher with this. He said the Pope was wrong...

(and he was a monk!)

Aren't there caveats in the Bible that basically mean anybody living their life by it is automatically a Christian?

The whole "false idol" thing leaps to mind. If they're a member of another religion, then they're not living their life by the Bible.

Ergo, Pope right.

Also, where did Adam and Eve's daughters-in-law come from? There's their three sons, Cain, Abel and Seth, but who did they marry? Lonely Bonobos?
