Curently have it on me desktop...looks good as Bond. Good choice for a 'grittier' Casino Royale (which is one of the few Bond books I've actually read...torture scene, ouch). Still, yeah, gotta wait and see. A surprisingly pleasing pick tho. Interesting.

After seeing Layer Cake I'd say Daniel Craig is a fine choice.

So is this going to be a retro Bond. Casino Royale is set before Dr No, right?

I kinda like the idea of this being set in the 50's or 60's. I just think it'll be a nice change of pace for the series.

I personally don't think he has the "bond look" period, reguardless of hair colour, blond, black, ginger.. can't comment on his acting as i haven't his films, so i hope he's a good actor at least, but i remain skeptical.
