Hangovers suck

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Drink more water and be sick if you have to. Sometimes it really really is better out than in. I was quite wrecked yesterday but so was my boss. This made the day go by much more easily.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

it was actually a work do.

Rounded off the evening in the hotel bar by abusing company keano bells for 'having no game'. Conversation:

*bell comment

"You need to raise your game"

*bell response

"Where is your game?"

*bell repose

"Why don't you have any f***ing game?"

*bell response

(to other people) "He has no game"

How to win friends and influence people. still, who cares, eh? Prat.

everyone is ruined today.

:D

and quite bizarrely, we had a works do last night too...

and on a slightly related note, during my inability to concentrate on work today i busied myself reading google groups and had to chuckle at this seemingly random post to rec.arts.sf.starwars.misc...

Jar Jar Binks seriously crippled my game

(edit to fix link)

You'd think. But the guy in the Trek t-shirt did come closest to pulling at Transfest... :(

I don't drink. :o

I'm like those desert-rats, I feed on dry leaves instead.

[preaching]
Seriously tho, drinking should be done with restraint, if you feel you really have to drink. [/preach]

And, I do believe that some years ago, a few alcoholic beverages with special properties that would severly lessen the effects of hang-over was released, yes? Whatever happened to those.. must have been bogus or something.

Drink much water. And buy home some mineral-tablettes, for future use.

I'm drinking Jägermeister this very moment! (I type with one hand - drink with the other [Yeah right]).

I can feel the hangover already.

Snakes on a plane, dudes.
Can't believe I'm still here.

I've suffered from Oktoberflu for nearly two decades, now. :(

On wednesday, I was quite bad. Couldn't go into work and infect people, as usual, as I probably would've collasped at the wheel on the drive in.

I so wish I couldn't theorise why things are right now, as I'm quite aware of why my current respiration makes asthma seem like hiccups and quite unable to alter that situation.

Weren't they taken off the market due to the incredibly high acidic content, that medical practitioners were conviced would rot teeth?

Still, good to see other people are sharing in that warm, fuzzy feeling through the effects of virus-free alcohol.

I did not have a hangover today! :)

Though the throwing up last night was not so funny...

Lesson learnt: Tequila is dangerous. :(

I've never had a hangover.

But I swore off cider after a day-long bout of alcohol poisoning.

that was a fun day. Oh yeah.
