I quite like these, they have sometimes innovative transformations and alt modes (butterfly, lynx, chameleon) that no official TFs had.
Anyone knows where I can find pics or info about them?
Here are some pics(In fact the only ones I found) so you can know what I'm talking about:

I think I owned one of these, or possibly a knock-off of these. It was a brown puma. Had some metallic silver paint on it.

Around here, those types of toys make appearances about Christmastime, usually at TRU, and also at Easter in the KMart/WalMart/whoever cheapo baskets. They come four to a box, good for cannon fodder but not much else IMO.

Well, I'monly interested in the ones made by leader shine... These animals were sold around 1992-93 with series names like Invading Insects or Invading Reptiles (there were four in each group, but were sold separatly). You mean you can buy these even today? If you see any, please let me know!

The bugs and cats were originally based off an old Japanese toy line that had animals turning into PEOPLE. Yes, with human faces. They were divided into mammals, insects, and reptiles, I think they had their own anime, but for the love of god I can't remember the name.

They were people?!?

The pre-cursors of Animorphs , no doubt... I always thought it was weird how these otherwise cool toys had such crudely shaped heads.
Here's a pic of the leader-shine TFs I have so far. That silvery Batmobile car, is, well, just weird, reminds me of some old Gobot monsters like Scorp or Vamp.
