Star Wars TV series

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

OOOH. So will it be like the stories from the 'tales of the bounty hunters' book, I wonder?

Just so long as they don't let Lucas anywhere near the typewriter or the director's chair, this could actually be halfway decent.

Come now, I'm sure that he can make a really good series aimed at kids :p

Seems interesting, but.. where's my Clone Wars Season 3*?!

I sure hope this won't interfere in any way with that. :(

(naturally, since the clone wars are over, a change in title might be coming)

think you worked that out then.

Because what happens after Ep3 is this TV series.

I wonder, what are the chances of the likes of Zahn and Anderson being among the scriptwriters?

Could be good. I just hope they avoid pointless cameos. And it should be action packed in true SW style, and no too wordy like, say, Star Trek. Battlestar Gallactica maybe...

Young Han Solos or teenage Leias, etc. Or it becomes Smallville.

Though we'll need Moff Tarkin in there.

its got so muc potential - Why do i feel that the central character will be a young boy/girl about 18-20 who has some strange ablitys - fast forward 50 hours, he is now a Jedi thanks to Yoda (yes yoda as hes CGI and thus they can use him when they want) but gets killed on the last episode and turns into a blue glowie, and by the magic og blue ray HD DVD is added to the blue glowie scene at the end of ROTJ...

yay

Or it becomes? Surely a series concentrating on a young Luke, Leia and Han is the SW equivalent of Smallville already...

Clone Wars season 1 was soo boring... Season 2 got much, much better. But it was because of Season 2 I got so dissapointed in Grievous in the movie. I mean, he was lightning-fast, kick-ass killing machine in Clone Wars, and a blumbering doofus in the movie. What gives? :(

Hope the series will be good, but seriously, we'lll have to wait 2-3 more years so it's too early to worry about anything.
