35 days till the new season starts, and... They (Trey Parker, Matt Stone) have signed a new contract!
The contract lasts till 2008, and they'll do 14 episodes a year.
This is 100% awesome.

That's one of my favourite episodessprunkner wrote:Did anyone see the South Park where they bought weapons at the flea market and went around playing ninjas? The whole ninja part was done in Japanese-style animation. It was hilarious.
I love the japanese fighting music, and the subtitles. "Hey hey lets go kick ass - japanese jibberish - protect my balls".
And how the whole episode ends; Cartman gets punished because he was seen naked - but nobody gets punished for the ninja star in Butters eye.

I just went to Mr Twig, and it seemed fine to me.
I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite episode, but two oldies that stand out in my mind are:
The one where they all go to Aspen, and it's like an 80's teen skiing movie. It's where they originally did the "Montage" song that was used in Team America.
And the one where Santa is shot down over Iraq and the boys and Mr. Hanky team up with Jesus to go in there with AK 47s and rescue Santa in a bloodbath.
But while we're on the subject of Jesus, who can forget Super Best Friends vs. David Blaine? How do you kill a giant stone Abraham Lincoln? A giant stone John Wilkes Booth.
I would say my two faves from the 1st part of Season 9 were Cartman is Dead and Kenny w/ the PSP. Although the baseball one gets honorable mention.

Santa gets tortured by some dude from Iraq (he is electrocuting Santas balls), and when Jesus comes and saves Santa from the torture, he hands Santa a gun.
We get a close up of Santa as he aims the gun and looks frustrated... at the last minute he moves his hand to the left and fires a shot.
"I just couldn't do it..." he says "I just couldn't let him live. He shocked Santas balls" and we see that he shot the Iraqi right in the face.
The baseball episode is also great - I love the Rocky music/Rocky parody

It's almost time!
And just as I wished, the episode will be about a flooded town

Hate to doublepost, but what did everyone think of the new ep?
Solid beginning, I'd say. Has Kenny been dead again since the PSP episode?
*I* broke the dam.
