Defamation of character? The guy's name is Jack Ass!
I've never met him (obviously) and I think the name suits him perfectly.
Why didn't he step forward with this sooner? Did he see that the run of the programmes were ebbing and realised that he was about to miss his chance to scam some cash?

A man who uses self-deprecation to feed his greed and pitifully malnourished ego sues a network which intentionally panders brain-crack to morons because of a show about people who use self-deprecation to feed their greed and pitifully malnourished egos.

What's the downside?

Hmmm? Fair point

Its just the whole culture of suing for any little thing that gets my back up. I suppose downside with any case like this is that more fuel is added to the 'compensation-culture' fire.
