Brend's Official Single of the Week

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Editors - "Blood"

Buy it.

And, for the record, Album of the Month is Hard-Fi's "Stars of CCTV".

Oh yes.
Grrr. Argh.

Will I like it even though I've been perpetually bombarded with Inaya "I was on that Mousse T record, y'know" Day's version on radio and tv for the past, oh... year it feels like?

It does have that funky Prince feel, though. Which isn't surprising as he wrote it...

Some unknown **** covered Nasty Girl? Never knew, woulda liked to have heard that.

It is funky, I like it.

Another good 80s song by a woman with nasty in the title:

'Nasty' by Janet Jackson.

"oh you nasty boys!"

It's on the Radio 1 A-List, it's hard to miss. You are a legend for doing so.

No, it's the new song by a group called Editors, which was released this week.

And it's really good. They sound like Interpol.

Simple, Eh?

I only really listen to the xfm brekkie show.

I'm going through 80s women quicker then ron jeremy tonight - Apollonia six, Sex shooter. That's a tune.

Prince was real good to the ladies during the mid to late 80s, what with giving them the odd hit single wasn't he?

Not to mention seducing a load of them. While he wasn't sucking himself off.

Damn, I thought we were starting a dating service.

I'm single and available (I thought it was a dating thread too).
I'm trying to remember the last MUSIC single I got. I'm sure it will be something embarressing when I remember what it was.

Brend's officially single every week. What would be the point of my making a big issue about it now?

I'm going to Warped Tour on Saturday. Which is funny when I consider that I only really am going for one band, though another is a nice standby, and I just found out my friend's band was playing, so I'll see them too, even though I don't really like them. Yea.

Anyway, for those who care, I'm going to see Thrice.
