Frank Arneson and Chelsea.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I'm not liking Chelski arrogant "We can do what the f### we like and f### everybody else" attitude. The fact they do it so openly only goes to show how invunerable they think they are.

Chelski are increasingly bad news for football.

As far as I'm concerned, players and clubs should be allowed to approach whomever they want whenever they want, just like any other employees and employers can.

If the clubs want to run themselves as businesses, they can accept the baggage that comes with it - that employees have the right to look for other jobs.

Personally, I've been waiting for the whole transfer system to collapse for about eight years. If Ashley Cole takes the Premiership to court for unfair restriction of employee movement, he's pretty much got the case won.
Grrr. Argh.

Football clubs are ridiculous, there is sooooo much money involved. It's about time normal rules applied.

The problem with the Cole thing is that small clubs will get f##ked by it. The current rulkes protect the small ones and they could get badly done in on Bosman's to bigger ones by maniliputative agents and clubs.
