Indy & Rambo(!) return

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

The Rambo-thing sounds almost like Arnies Commando.

Living in the American wilderness. Former super military dude. Gets daughter kidnapped. Kicks arse.

The Rambo films are crap (except the first one), so I dont care if they make a million more Rambo movies.

But the Indiana films are enoyable and good. They should leave the whole thing alone.

i could live with another Indy, Speilo generally knows what he is doing.

Couln't give 2 ****s about Rambo though. Stick to driving grown men to kill themselves Sly.

Is Mr. Ford capable of making another Indy movie? He is rather old now... :o
Or maybe it's a CGI Indy for the stunts.

either way, no doubt the bad guy will be played by Christopher Lee.

i may have been a tad unfair on Stallone:

C.Lee is just evil tho!!!

Indy could be good, weve had a big enough break, I just hope it doesnt go all TombRaider.
Ford might be knocking on but im sure he could still carry it off, Indy never relied on big muscles...

The orginal Rambo was a good film, it was the start of the super soilder and was partially belivable to some extent. unlike Commando which is so poor I want to puke.

But to make another film is just pure folly.

Surely Commando was utterly just tongue-in-cheek, there's no way that was a serious movie?

Rambo = bleh. The inside of pingpong balls is more interesting imo.

Indiana = :up:

Commando is one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen. I love it.
It's completley unrealistic and just pure fun :)

Commando must have the worst movie villain of all time. Did anyone seriously think that fat Aussie could beat up Arnie?

Oh hell yes. It's most awesome.
He has a watch that goes "BIIIIIIIP" every second.
Must be kinda hard sneaking up on bad guys with that kind of watch.

he also has force powers - in the finnal scene where he takes out a small army he never gets hit once. or even reloads his never ending chain gun...

It's not crap!

It's awesome and funny.

In one scene he just rips a telephonbooth right out of the ground, and throws it around him.

And this might be the best part; in true action hero style he fetches like a thousand guns, and a scuba diving outfit.
A couple of minutes later he is swimming in just a pair of speedos.
Why did you take the scuba diving stuff?!

I hope Arnie returns to the movies and makes at least ten more movies.

End of Days contains alot of great jokes Karl. You should give it a shot :)

The humour is charming.
I have a feeling Arnie knows that he's crap - but he enjoys what he's doing.
