Justice League - Cartoon.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Justice League - Cartoon.

I've seen the first 23 episodes so far - and I've really enjoyed them.
I don't know if it's actually a crappy show, but the only thing I can compare it to is the Transformers Cartoon... so yeah, on second thought I actually think Justice League is ace.

I find the characters to really differ from each other - and in my book Flash really works as comic relief.
And the plots are interesting, and really not that too far fetched...
Allthough in one of the latest episodes I saw, the villain was an immortal lady that could fly, shoot beams out of her hands and turn a whole friggin city into a castle... yet she still wanted to get ahold of some old relic that would give her 'total power'. Come on, isn't it enough to be able to turn a whole town into a castle, and be able to fly, etc? Oh well...

I like that there's "To be continued" episodes so everything doesnt seemed rushed.

But I've read that the Justice Leage, in season two or three, was re-done so that there were'nt any more 'to be continued', and in every episode there was a new part-time member of the Justice League that helps out?

Bla bla bla.... does anyone else like it - and are the comics read-worthy?
Can't believe I'm still here.

It's really quite good. Pehaps on par with Batman Of The Future, yet of course from a completely different perspective.

Season 2 really does rock. Lotsa cool stuff there, the return of Darkseid is one of my favs there. I do believe that it changes to Justice League Unlimited in season 3, that's when they have a gassillion members. I have however heard that most of those eps are pretty good too.

bah. Gimme Batman TAS and Batman Beyond over JL any day of the week.

Seems every episode I watch of JL is "Oh crap! We're boned", followed shortly by Batman saying "It's cool guys, I figured it all out, set phasers/deflector dish/eye beams to 1.32 Ghz and zap em"
I wont wank as I dont want to feel guilty. ~ Snarl

It's not the best animated series ever made, but it's good (at least what I saw was good). The material involving Darkseid is some of the better stuff I'd say.

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

this might be a good place to start..
vol 1 has 28 episodes on it. They have a collection of all three volumes for under $100 (thats over 80 episodes)

if you just want the first 5 episodes they have those for $8
