If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Taking screenshots from video-clips.

I know it's been brought up before... but what the heck.
Is there a nice little program that will let me grab screenies from a videoclip?

I tried to do it in the Windows Media player by setting the video acceleration to 'mininum' or whatever it is in english - but then it wouldnt let me fastforward to the frame I want to grab.

Any suggestions? :)

Try Ctrl+i with media player, should do the trick.

I use Cyberlink PowerDVD and get good enough results.

Of course, depending on the type of video file, you get better results from anchor frames, than from interleave frames.
