Thanks - I was trying to base it on the UK black and white Marvel story style.
And as for the pregnancy thing - don't worry, it went all wrong in a 'Transmutate from Beast Wars' type of way. Then it would've meshed in with the Transmetals toys (it was a LONG story to write).
No problems with the image/file size etc then?

Depends what state of mind I'm in. I can pencil and ink a page in day if I'm really into it and I have no interruptions.
I actually kinda HATE drawing, and haven't done any comics for about seven years or so because the process is so repetitive. I much prefer writing and am a few weeks from finishing my first novel - it's taken me about twelve years on and off, so I'm glad it's nearly done.
I only really ever draw stuff now if I need to visualise it for help in my writing. I've got the character designs for the main characters in my book on my laptop. I've probably lost a few of my art skills now from lack of use - I'll have to draw something new and see what happens.
Glad you like what I've posted though. I'll try and find the rest of what I did on this and post links to a hosting site so you can see it. Or I suppose I could just post the pages in order here (there's only about eight), like I did with these two. Which would be best?
I've got a ninety page superhero story kicking about in my filing cabinets too (still unfinished - as usual), but that's a bit too much hassle to scan and link.

What continuity is it based in? *scared for own book's sake*Autobloke wrote:...I much prefer writing and am a few weeks from finishing my first novel - it's taken me about twelve years on and off, so I'm glad it's nearly done...
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Nothing to do with TFs, although it does have giant robots in it. And occasionally breasts. But all tastefully done with my own particular brand of humour. Digging up these comic pages has made me tempted to find my old story notes and rattle it out as another book. Then again, I've got four other books I'm trying to write besides my nearly finished one.Señior's Covenant wrote:What continuity is it based in? *scared for own book's sake*Autobloke wrote:...I much prefer writing and am a few weeks from finishing my first novel - it's taken me about twelve years on and off, so I'm glad it's nearly done...
If I ever get published I'll be straight here to tell everyone.

It's got some detail, it got some action, it even got some intrigue.
Sure. I'll read on. You've hooked the readers interest, wich is important.
So, Cristoper Caudery is your real name? I just realised I've never heard it, cause no-one's asked I think... Curtesy compells me to tell my name. Wanna hear it?

No, PredaBot is short for Predator Robot. It strives from my Predaking fan-hood and playing around with the words Autobot/Predacon Maximal/Decepticon in my head a few years ago. I suppose I like AVP and the original Arnie-movie Predator too.
My birth-name is Lars Johansson. It's quite typically swedish, yet not. Cause in my age-group there's nearly no-one named Lars.
So, that's me, stereotype and all, Lars Johansson. From Sweden.

Yeah, the worst thing about the strip by far is that there isn't anymore. A great angle and great artwork. You are truly a talented fellow, my friend. And congratulations on having the determination and work ethic to produce a book, as well.

This is excellent stuff. Particularly liking the way that everything is so detailed yet stays uncluttered and easy on the eye...there's not too much solid blacks or anything. Sweetness.
Also agree on good choice of angles and layout; you have ace storytelling skillz as well as drawing chops, mate.
Looking forward to seeing the rest.

[quote="Rebis"]Hmm...
Given the characters so far involved, this could be continued as a G1/Beast Wars/Beast Wars II three-way, with part 2 involving how Angromegan and prehistoric Earth Maximals become allied.

Part 2 is ace. Can't say it any other way.
Except for one small thing, wich can be corrected, it would seem that the jaggedness of the resizing of these pics have made the text in a few of the word-boxes hard to make out. Nothing serious tho.
It is interesting how this fan-idea of Beast Wars is till somewhat similar to some of the things that the official version was to be. Yet at the same time completely different.

I did test-read to make sure it was clear, but then I already knew what was written so my memory probably filled in the gaps. Or my monitor setup is different. I just didn't want to post huge pages that took ages to appear. What did you miss, or did you manage to get it all? I've fiddled with the image over and again, but it doesn't want to play nice - I think my scanner is dying on me so the core data is pump, so I may rescan them at a mate's and try to repost them. Depends on whether anyone else has problems reading them too.Predabot wrote: the jaggedness of the resizing of these pics have made the text in a few of the word-boxes hard to make out. This amazed me too, but I think it's probably just the impression the early toys gave that sent writers in the same type of direction. I also wanted to mirror G1's Earth crashlanding with my BW characters (apparently the BW showwriter did his crashdown having never read any G1 comics or seen the cartoon - so coincedence isn't impossible). However, my story quickly diverges from the established BW story basics, so that's okay then.Predabot wrote: It is interesting how this fan-idea of Beast Wars is till somewhat similar to some of the things that the official version was to be. Ta for the kind words though.

Thus the existance of the word "coincidence".Autobloke wrote:- so coincedence isn't impossible).
I had the same trouble with some BotCon stuff online. Though once it was snuggly on my 'puter's files I could merely magnify what I couldn't read.Predabot wrote:Except for one small thing, wich can be corrected, it would seem that the jaggedness of the resizing of these pics have made the text in a few of the word-boxes hard to make out.
