Takara doesnt produce GI Joe, but Microman

Just had a look at my new Percepter reissue (the blue and red one - not the E Hobby).
I was wondering why his stickers were all pre-applied. Did the original Percepter have all of his stickers already stuck on?
Just checking that I hadn't got a dud or something.
That said, there's no mention of a sticker sheet in the contents list, or an application guide on the instruction sheet.
Just seemed odd to me...
