What are you addicted to?

Myself, in random order:

* World of WarCraft
* Checking my e-mail
* Thinking about a certain someone
* Checking Transfans and a few other sites
* (Stage) acting
* Programming in Quest3D

I would have thought that those were more along the lines of obsessions, rather than addictions. But, then, who's the one with the degree in Psychology, eh?

So, going by what you've said, I wouldn't say mine were very dissimilar.

Aside from the World of Warcraft, Quest3D, (Stage) acting, acquiring knowledge, and regurgitating said knowledge.

Biology. Addiction involves a physical cycle with a particular type of withdrawal symptoms—typically headaches, shakes, persistent cravings, breakdown in temperature regulation, etc. It's colloquially used to refer to obsession, though, fully as 'psychological addiction'.

Yet some people don't actually seem to realise caffeine, sugar and other common substances are physically addictive.

...actually I'm going to "think" about three or four certain someones...while I'm watching their video on my PC. Yessirree, I'm going to be "thinking" real hard about them.

Now? Working, and caffeinated beverages of many types. Posting here as well I suppose. Other than that, I dunno, spending time with the family and reading & writing?

OH! Organization! Something out of place bugs the **** out of me. I've lost sleep over the littlest crap.

Also, now that I think about it (as I'm typing) I've got this weird habit.

When getting dressed, as I've recently picked up the habit of wearing underwear again (there's another one! addicted to wearing underwear!), my boxerbriefs MUST match something I'm wearing on the outside; jeans, shirt, belt & shoes, etc. If I don't I'm not comfortable all day. Does that make me a freak?

That should be it... ...other than breathing. Covenant - Addicted to air since 1980.
