New York

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I'm visiting New York in about 4 weeks, it will be my first time!

Any advice for places I shoudl go that just shouldn't be missed?

Where is good to buy clothes? Transformers? Video Games?

I'm so excited but need some kind of plan for when I arrive otherwise I will be overwhelmed!

New York is amazing you will love it.

Be sure to:

- Go the the times square Toys R Us.
- Eat at Virgils (right next to TRU).
- Go to the top of the Empire State Building.
- Check out Ground Zero and all the cool stuff in the Winter Garden (in the world financial center) right across the street.
- Check out China Town and Little Italy just for fun.
- For Clothes definitely take a walk down 5th Avenue
- For video games there is random stuff all over the place

I dont know how long youre going to be there, but if youre looking for more just let me know.

Hmm i can only think of one its along third avenue i cant even think what its called. but i think its on like 14th st and 3rd ave if i can think of it ill let you know. also, in china town, there are some randomly dispersed places to pick stuff up.

Another place youll have to go to, providing they are still open im not even 100% sure they are, is FAO Schwarz. It is seriously the greatest toy store in history. Just dont buy anything it all costs twice as much as it should, but its one hell of an experience. It's along 5th avenue on 55th st i believe, or at least somewhere in the mid 50s.
