Er, yes. a "Ghost Costume".Emperor_Starscream wrote:that remembers me when eric cartman use a hittler`s costume for halloween and after that he uses a ghost custome
Mark Thatcher apparently had deep misgivings about what the helicopter was going to be used for, and although he suspected it was for a coup attempt, he bought it for his friends anyway. But he said he was sorry, so that's all right then.saysadie wrote:And then I wondered where all the real news was...
That's the reason I took an interest in this story over any of the others yesterday, the possibility for satire. Mark Thatcher is also a great story, but unfortunately plays second fiddle to this one; the gags practically write themselves.Metal Vendetta wrote:After all, in previous decades most of the royal family were Nazis and fascits...
Not as far as I know, no.Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:wasnt it a bad taste party?

Well then. You see, there once were these people called the Jews. Many can still be found today. Really! Then there was this group of murderous radical ****s some have referred to as the Nazis. This is the group to which those mentioned lines, and "costumes" belong to.Professor Smooth wrote:Yes, I'm ******* serious! How is wearing a stupid costume to a party an international incident? Ah, right, my bad. I didn't know you were one of those people who can't differentiate between the people who commited those horrific attrocities and a piece of cloth with a logo.Señior's Covenant wrote:Well then. Well, the Nazis didn't care much for the Jews, so there was this big tennis match... ...no wait. I'm sorry, where's my head? Heh. I was thinking of ANOTHER story that DIDN'T have "ethnic cleansing", "genocide", "a ******* World War associated with it", "producing facilities filled with babies where experiments resulted in death", "horrific medical experiments conducted on living and fully conscious human beings such as -injecting them with various liquids like bleach for one just to see what it would do-, -infecting them with diseases to gain results for warfare-, -cutting off limbs without anesthetic then merely sewing them back on to the conscious patient to see what would happen-, -poison, incendiary, and sterilization experiments to name a few-", "gassing living people", "burning men, women and children", "executions abroad".
Man, what was the name of that damn story? Happy Birthday? No. Hallelujah? Nu-uh. Holocaust! Yeah, that's the one!
You don't see the problem with an heir to a political throne not seeing the flawed logic, ******* indecency, and overall stupidity of wearing such a costume? Perhaps he should have gone as a tsunami-flood victim. Oh wait, that would have been a **** thing to do as well.

I know all about what the nazis did during the war. I'm also relatively certain that Prince Harry had nothing to do with it.
My point is that if someone (someone who doesn't have spies taking pictures of them for major newspapers) were to wear that symbol to school, they'd be made to turn the shirt inside out. They would not be asked to appologize to germany.
If Prince Harry had declared his allegiance to the WWII era Nazi party publicly at a press conference, it would be a different story. Wearing their logo as a joke to a party does not, to me at least, mean that he's a typical 20-year-old trying to get a rise out of his friends.
But you wouldn't understand that because you can't seperate that combination of six lines from the unspeakable horrors commited more than half a century ago.
I did not say he was a Nazi. Show me where I did. I stated he's an idiot and an asshole for wearing that "costume" period. Comparing a royal family member and possible future political player to a civilian kid in public school. I complain about the intolerance of my countrymen. The stupidity of my countryment is never in debate. I never say anything about indecency because I believe that it can be defined on an individual basis.Optimus Prime Rib wrote:perhaps the most sarcastic argument ever...
I have to say I agree with Senior on this one. Im kind of shocked Smooth. You are the same one who complains about the stupidity and indecency of your own countrymen, right? Can you at least not see how this could be taken as a severe lack if tact?
