We've got season3 here in sweden now. And in the last episode when they had captured Nina and tried to interrogate her, but she got lose and Jack found her, had her at his mercy and said: "You don't have any more usefull information, now do you?" Nina: "Yes, I do..." Jack squeeses trigger BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! And here he had gotten us all to believe that he wasn't going to kill her. Bad-arse indeed.

Judging from this, that Compy said:Señior's Covenant wrote:Wait. What?Predabot wrote:...Season 4...
I assumed from that, that season 3 was over for you guys, and that season 4 had just started. I guess I was wrong.Computron wrote:Tonights episodes were excellent and bode well for Season 4. Hopefully the season will redeem Season's 3 absolutely craptacular middle section.
Seeing Bauer "interrogate" the prisoner was frosting on the cake...
Strange tho, here in sweden the networks don't really buy and start broadcasting a show before the season has ended, or really, they can't now can they?
Since the network theyve leased/hired whatever, it from has to show it first, and as not to catch up in the middle of a season and have a 6 month break all of a sudden, cause they can't broadcast it. Or do you british peeps get it some time after america too?
But then, youre not from Britain/USA now are you Señior's Covenant? Um..was it Chile? Some south american country I think?

Well, I am US based. I guess I just lost a season or something. I must be forgetting a season. That has to be it. I only recall two run throughs of 24. What am I forgetting? ****, this is going to bug me for a while.
[EDIT] Okay, just read through some season descriptions. Now I'm on the same page. Was pissed for a moment. Thought I had missed an entire season or something.

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

I loved season 3.
The middle bit's in Mexico provided some of the most tense parts of the whole series. Especially as your not to sure about Jack at this stage.
Though all 3 'days' have been the best straight drama of the last few years by miles. I can't think of any other drama I have watched for a few years.

That wasn't the middle bit, that was the opening bit, and it was extremely well made. The middle bit was the boring **** after they returned from Mexico, putzed around for 10 hours and finally wrapped things up at the school.Jetfire wrote:

Oh and LN is right. The women on 24 are either astoundingly stupid, evil or both.
They need to die.

Scrap it, I watched every episode of season 1 half a year ago, and our national TV channels still haven't bought the rights to the other seasons...
24 was one of the few shows that could suprise me (that, and the Poirot stories...)

i'd just like to make the express point that not all women in 24 need to die, Kim clearly needs to come round my place instead.
anyway, finally, thanks to a week off ill, got time to watch this - loved it.
Altho it was bloody silly at points, especially the rubbish president and every single roof having a sniper on it to kill every single witness every single time they got captured.
Plus, why didn't the mummy just use his powers? eh?
Tony, yay!
Palmer, yay!
Sadistic script writers, yay!

I have to say, season 4 took the cake a bit. Funny thing is, I missed an episode round about number 20, so rented the rest. And its SO much more enjoyable when you watch several at once, you just get caught up in it and can forgive its flaws.
Better than Season 3, but I think the concept is wearing very thin now.

Yes, i think that's the case - i think i may have lost interest in the middle if i watched it once a week.spiderfrommars wrote:I have to say, season 4 took the cake a bit. Plus, is it me - or are CTU just lucky. Half the time the only reason they get to know about the plot is because some terrorist does something stupid.
The personal relationship stuff was laid on a bit too thick as well, especially's the sucicidal daughter.
Also, i may have missed it - but what happened to the boy?

did they get him back? i though the terrorists nicked him - tbh i wasn't paying attention at some points as it all got a bit much.spiderfrommars wrote:The deal was he could go free if his mum worked with CTU.
That was one bit that annoyed me. His mum was killed purely because of Jack's incompetence.
Do you reckon they deliberately casta guy who looked a bit like Nixon to be a crap prez?

Yep. Don't they always cast a Nixon lookalike for a 2nd rate president?
As for the id, the DVD extras explain what happened to him (CTU recaught him after he tried to escape on a boat".
I love Chloe to bits. She is always entertainign as a character and and devloped intoa much improved character since when she first appeared.
