Clone Wars Animated Series

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

First episode of Season 3 was tonight.

And it was phenomenal.

The animation. The sound effects. Just the overall production and direction of this show makes it better than anything out there.

Have to say, I like it more than Lost. And I loved Lost.

This trailer by itself is better than anything in the three prequel movies. Looks fantastic, doesn't it?

That looks pretty damn amazing. I picked up the Oppress figure the other day and figured I'd better start watching the show, but short of extralegal methods, I'm not sure how.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Go to Youtube. Probably there. Well worth the watch. Makes the prequels look like...well, more ass than before.

The season, and likely series, finale has aired. Wow. Just wow. Anybody who thinks SW can't recover from the debacle that was the prequels need only watch these last six or seven episodes.

Rumor is this was the final episode, with no certainty of a Season Six being voiced.

So it is with a heavy heart that I say farewell to my favorite show on television.

I'm sure all of you who watched along with me and posted so fervently in this forum will miss it greatly.

All of you. Meaning just me. :)

Watch Clone Wars!!!!

I don´t consider myself a Star Wars fan (not even remotely), but correct me If Im wrong. Wasn´t this series circunscribed in like a couple of years of fighting? And the other Clone Wars short stories (of a few years ago) also depicted the same time?

How much more seasons could be devoted to that short amount of time?

Firstly, I don't care how silly your questions. You have chosen to enter a thread whose members have consisted solely of me.....myself....and the indomitable I. And we have gotten quite lonely. So welcome to our happy place! (however you enter at your own peril and me and myself can not be held responsible for anything I has to say).

Secondly, I thought the same thing. How could you produce six seasons of stuff that occurs between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith? And yet, mastermind Dave Filoni has done just that, directing something that has by far surpassed anything the prequels had to offer (which wasn't much).

You should definitely check it out, despite your understandable reservations.

This post makes me think that Yaya hacked TLA's account and posted in order to get some traffic for this thread.
