Well, I might as well get an opinion in this arguement.

Simple and highly effective tactic.
I would hardly call the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi's as "simple and effective". See, that's the problem. American blood should not be worth more than Iraqi blood, or Israeli blood, or whatever.
See, you criticize religion as root of evil, yet do not recognize what patriotism has done to your train of thought.
I agree with everything Yaya said about this. As for what Impy said, I completely disagree. Politicians use the religious card to get votes. Bush played the religious card to try to get Christians like me to give him his first term. My family didn't fall for this, but I'd be rich if I had a nickel for every person who said "He's Christian. You should vote for him." As for scaring Iran, if Bush did think that up, it shows his uncaring nature towards other people because of how many people died for the cause of "scaring a country". In the matter of blood worth, Al Queda(Spelling?) believes that everyone who isn't Islamic should die, as we think they should die for wanting to murder over half of the earth. Each side values themselves more than anyone else. IMHO, while I don't want or agree with the war, America, Britan, etc...; is the lesser evil.

While he never said either, one could say he wrote it like he admires the idea. I won't jump the gun on this matter, as point of view is a large chunk of this debate.
Yaya wrote:Yes, but it's also possible to disagree with said perspective, and indicate why.
Yes it is, but Rebis is pointing out that you assumed Impy was an american.
