If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I thought TaleSpin was the stinker of the bunch. Darkwing Duck... let's get dangerous. But Baloo the bear as a flying ace? That was a stretch.

Gummi Bears rocked. A truly moving fantasy epic, that one.

just spent 8 hours fixing my new PC - even after a BIOS default, 2 install of windows, nothing, I had to actually flash the BIOS and stop it restarting before a new install to fix the problem... unreal, thought the hardware was ******.

I thought TaleSpin ruled for three reasons:

1. I thought Rebecca was hot as a kid
2. I love Shere Kahn as the cold capitalist
3. Kit Cloudkicker? Getting to surf on waves out the back of a plane? That's f*?&#*(# sweet.

This is actually the real hundredth post, according to that anti-Y2K logic.

I win on a technicality.

I forgot numbers when I started learning about letters.

Useless factoid of the moment: I'm the 500th view of this topic, which, given it's 103 replies, means that it has one of the lowest view-to-reply ratios of the entire forums!

Not very popular with the lurkers, that means. ;)

Oh, and not so interesting: gave myself an electric shock 5 hours ago when I stretched the s-video cable for my pc's graphics card so I could use it on my laptop, which still didn't reach. I have a nice tear in my fingerprint and an ache that isn't fading fast enough.

Still, to take my mind off of it, I'm watching a pretty good divx of TRON in widescreen on my tv without the need for my mediabox. :)

Guess I'd better do my part then.

Eight Legged Freaks is showing for the second time on Singapore TV tomorrow night. It took ages for this one to reach TV, which is evident from Scarlett Johanssen's role as Kari Wuhrer's daughter - it's scary how she's grown up. Hot damn.

Like Christina Ricci in Addams Family and Kirsten Dunst in Interview with the Vampire?

Holy flippin ****.
Scarlett is the hottest out of those three.
Kirsten is plain boring.
Ricci has her moments.
But Scarlett... ahhhh.

THAT'S what I'm talking about, MV.

See, I was trying to start a discussion of naming actresses who are now how but were once child stars.

I wasn't trying to say that Christina and Kirsten are more hot than anyone. They're not exactly my pick either, but they ARE clearly two girls who had quite prominent roles as kids and who I defy Legion, Ob, Aaron, or anyone else in the "Scarlet Johanesson is God, I don't care what Dawkins says, kill the unbelievers, anyone who has any sort of physical imperfections should be dragged out into the street and shot, I once stole candy from a baby because Scarlet spoke to me in my head and she said she wanted something sweet" camp to say that they would throw Christina or Kirsten out of their bed.

Shanti, i never said any such thing, i infact said that Kirsten and Christina are preferable to me than Scarlet.

Kirsten would have no business in my bed. I'd rather sleep with a sheep.
Christina on the other hand is welcome (but I am of the opinion that she looks a bit skinny in some pictures, and I don't care for that).

Also: there's a big difference between ******* someone - and finding them attractive.
Some guys would sleep with Rosie Odonnell.
Can't believe I'm still here.

I think I'm going to paint that on my wall.

Then I'll hand you your small intestine on a sandwich, unbeliever.
