push for councilling on the nhs, they don't like to give it out because its expensive but it sounds like exactly what you need IMO.

i'll give a call tomorrow and see if i can talk to someone else... a week's worth of valium and a recommendation to pull myself together isn't really what I had in mind as 'help'.
