we all know everyone hates me so....

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I'm trying to figure whether we should be really scared by that comment or not.

But, on the off-chance that you can project psychic death-wishes via your emotions, you appear to be a very lovely human being, TLA! Continue not hating.

Apart from Don murphy.
....and Pat Lee. Oh, and I don't mind if you hate Tony Blair or my gaffer.

....and....wait there, I'll be back in a bit with a list.

Just in case anyone is thinking of 'pulling a Dexom', I've tried to help by making something that will save you having to waste your time writing out a lengthy goodbye post-just pop it in and hit 'Play'.

Another reason why I love this place: Almost everyone here knows what that strange, tape filled thing is and what it does. Go old people!

dexom,
what i hate about you the most is not only are you fat, ugly, queer, make rude comments, no nothing about transformers but spend every extra cent on them, ignorant, quick to judge, queer, quick to act, queer, lonely, may not have the internet for a few months because you downloaded over your gigabit and got it turned off as of october 4th, queer, queer, queer, and um queer, but you talk about yourself in third person.

wait is that me talking?

oh and yes i love my new import white psp; my ds sucked for graphics. but i managed to buy a polar white lite anways.

So wait, are you trying to say that you're queer?

And I'm not sure what's worse, that you know nothing about Transformers yet spend all your money on them, or that you "no" nothing about Transformers.

Regardless, dirty trick by you, but hey, at least everyone's hanging out in your thread.

I guess Defcon will be coming out of the woodwork to receive a heap of mistaken identity posts soon, then.

Whew, didn't expect to read a topic about some unknown guy (actually, me too remember some of his posts) and end up reading Zoids... :)

Now if only we had the complete Death's Head series uploaded somwhere like these comics... ;)

Back on topic, yeah if people ignore your posts that can be annoying... was the reason I left Seibertron for a while, in the past. But don't assume people hate you! It's because= A: you post topics similar to other topics B: you post uninteresting stuff C: you post the same topics under different aliases over and over again...

And the "I Hate Best First" club is still running as well, but dues are going up due to the vast volume of people applying for membership.

Up to issue 10 and have only come up with one page as a dead link so far.

actualy i was making a joke, um yeah it would be hard for me to say i'm a hardcore fan. i was just a year old when the original tf series aired in the us. so its safe to say i didn't see much of it nor remember the complicated storyline. i was more of a heman fan but i still can't say i remember a single episode from that series either. even though i had a heman bedspread, just about every figure, and i wore heman underwear. i was turned off by beastwars because it didn't make much sence to me. i mean, come on robots that turn into animals. tell me thats not much of a disguise. when rid aired i was heavy into legos and had built massive citys along the shelves in my room, though i did buy magnus and prime and prowl, x-brawn, and side burn. but i saw very little if none of the show. when armada aired at first i was disgusted because i thought the originals were being made fun of. but what brought me back was the week after i tried to take my life because i felt lonley deppressed, and had a suicidal side=effect from a medication that has now proven to cause suicidal idiation. i saw on tv while in a hospitol bed with a tube in my lungs forcing me to breathe. a commercial advertising what you call brick pants prime. i thought it was so cool the way his trailer transformed all on its own. i realized then that transformers weren't going anywhere anytime soon. so i had found something to keep me going; something that would never go out of style; something that would give something to look forward to. a hobby; an excuse to wake each day go to work and deal with A-holes and idiots because i know that when the day is over i'll find some new tf on the web or hear about a new line or a new event. and even though i'm about as learned on tfs is a frog is learned on flight; i'll have a hobby to keep me guessing. and i've read up on the many series. i'm learning more and more about the show the story the toys the events and the way of life. and although i only have 68 othem; no older than armada; i think i'm just as good a fan as anyone could be who has had such a late start. but i think i've gotten off topic what i mean is that i don't think you hate me. i just think that you don't take me seriously or think of me as an equal is this line of a hobby. and your right as much as i know i know i have alot to learn. but it seems that as much as i think i am learning i seem overwhelmed because half the time i haven't a clue as to what you guys are talking about. and i can't help but feel left out because i don't know whats going on. and i wish i could just ask whithout feeling queer. well i guess you could if you feel like it let me in on the topics by explaing a little about them and it might be helpful if someone could direct me to sites that explain all the tf lines, storys, and toys new and old, and i have a feeling there are parody or external lines that have confused me. i think i need a whole re-education. but i think i asking too much. besides my verizon account is to be terminated and i don't know when i'll get back ionline again. right now i have three friends at this hospitol who want to chip in to connect with sprint as a carrier its cheaper but its dial up. well if i don't reply back in the next few days its because my internet is shut off. hopfully that is just a temperary thing.

Dexom, more important than how people think of you is how you think of yourself. Of course there is a lot of people that may or are more informed than you (or anybody) of tfs but thats not so important. This is not a race. For me at least Tfs is doing something you like, as long as it is that way then there is no problem.

Take care!

As a rather serious aside the use of the term 'queer' in the pejorative sense is not looked upon well here, so please stop using it.

Anybody else hear Chris Moyles' self-righteous rant this morning? Basically boiled down to "I thought it was funny when Rio called me a faggot, so nobody else has any right to be offended by the word ever. I use words like **** - which is much worse - when I'm not doing breakfast radio, so it's all okay and you should all lighten the hell up."

To a resounding chorus of the "you're so amazing, Moylesy" song from his sycophants.

Makes me want to switch back to Wogan.

Thankfully, our recent 'Internet upgrade' at work has resulted in a fatal throttling of realmedia streaming, and consequently, we are forced to listen to good music brought in via the medium of mp3. ;)

And since the reshuffle last monday, I have found the only things worth listening to on radio1 are broadcast live when I'm asleep.

In the sense that Moyles himself defined it, he's gay. Very gay. In fact he's about as gay as it gets.*

*for 'Merkins and other aliens, Chris Moyles is a BBC Radio 1 DJ who defended saying that a ringtone was "gay" on air by saying that kids use it as slang for "bad".
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

It's not just the fact that it's homophobic that annoys me... it's also the fact that it's a ******* ludicrous misapplication of language.

I mean, for a start, it makes no sense...
