From what I hear of the footage it's pretty unpleasant. He goes through death convulsions and everything. Hardly the sort of thing you really want to watch I'd have thought, taste and the dignity of the man in question would seem to persuade that the footage should be destroyed rather than released.

I don't know why, but I'm really broken up about this. I'm not the kind of person who gets upset about celebrity deaths, but this one just seems so...unfair.

As an animal lover myself, I too am quite upset with what happened. He tried to make the animal world something familiar.
