Thom Yorke is appearing to me. Take a guess!sprunkner wrote:So... have you been up all night, or is this an early thing?
I've had... green tea. You win.sprunkner wrote:It could be time for a caffeine-off. I'm on my second Frappuccino and I'm really starting to hate them. Bought them in bulk for work. I also had a Starbucks doubleshot and a 16-oz Coke. I am a caffeinated corporate whore.
Grr! *shakes fist*sprunkner wrote:PS- You are not getting the Yorkeheadballback.
No offense, but I think Ozzy hasn't done anything worthwhile since "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." He had that Mtv show, he killed animals, he convorted with Bush. That **** ain't cool and it sure as [composite word including 'f*ck'] ain't rock n roll. Ozzy can lick me arse.Professor Smooth wrote:Ozzy Osbourne. Lots of Ozzy. I think I may spend the evening listening to his entire studio catalogue from beginning to end.
In fact, I think I'll set that up now.
He's been also occasionally releasing new albums during those 30 years, by I guess that's not what this topic is about after all.man-with-the-dogs wrote:No offense, but I think Ozzy hasn't done anything worthwhile since "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." Yeah, I'm quite jealous actually. I wouldn't mind seeing that at all.spiderfrommars wrote:I'm going to his concert on Saturday. Taking photos for work basically, but I expect he'll put on a good show.
And Tiny Dancer is brill.
Yeah, crap albums. Actually, I thought this topic was about music. What is music if the people performing it are sellouts? If they don't stick to the principles they claim to hold? What good is someone who sings the line "learn how to love and forget how to hate" then goes and kills his pet cats? What good is a rebel-by-the-book? What does "Politicians hide themselves away, they only started the war" mean when the person who sang it hangs with those same politicians. Ozzy is the ultimate lesson in what not to become. I hope I never end up like him.Ozz wrote:He's been also occasionally releasing new albums during those 30 years, by I guess that's not what this topic is about after all.man-with-the-dogs wrote:No offense, but I think Ozzy hasn't done anything worthwhile since "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath." But what if one, say, liked Kid A, thought Amnesiac was brill...but Hail to the Thief was utter tosh? Will it be Amnesiac great or a mixture of all 3 in tone? Oh noes I have now been confuzzled.spiderfrommars wrote:I got sent a promo album of the new Thom Yorke album last week!
If the last 3 'Head albums weren't your bag, don't buy it.
But I think its pretty cool.
