Hmm.

Didn't deserve that at all.

I hate Sven, he is a clueless ******* ****.

Carragher is not a fullback. He has played **** there. he is slow, his distribution is bollocks. Ashley cole is well off form. His end product at this level is gash.

Lampard again flattering to decieve, Stevie G blatently is a mile better then Lampard.

[composite word including 'f*ck'] [composite word including 'f*ck'] [composite word including 'f*ck'].

Sol Campbell, you useless **** ****.

******* abyslmal defending from set pieces all night. Really cannot believe how ******* unprofessional it has been.

***** like Hargreaves playing, who can do nothing on the ball, Carrick, what the [composite word including 'f*ck'] man? He is calm, he's have this on the deck easy.

Walcott? [composite word including 'f*ck'] me, what is the point of him being here?

Cannot believe how ****, how absoutely ******* terrified a team can look when defending a set piece. It is absurd.

It means we still finish ahead of your lot, and get the better half of the draw.

If Sweden get past Germany, you'll probably get Argentina in the quarters.
Grrr. Argh.

It was still miles better to watch than the T&T game, which was the most boring football match I've seen in ages.

I did have more, but now all my world cup predictions have gone awry, anything could happen.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Yay... On the one hand, if one is going to win the whole shebang, one must be able to beat Argentina.

Yeah.. right.. I have nothing. We're in deep ****. Ah well, I guess we still have hockey or something...

You guys keep talking that you played like a disgrace tho, I didn't think it was that bad. Certainly not any worse than the other lot in swedens group? :eyebrow:

Predabot, we and England are in different positions.

They were up 1 - 0, and 2 - 1. The game ended 2 - 2.

We were down 0 - 1, and 1 - 2. The game ended 2 - 2.

We won a point. England lost two points.
That's frustrating ****.

My opinion is that Sweden didn't play at their full potential in the first half. But England did (or at least 80% or something).
In the second half it was the other way around. Sweden played well, but Englands performance dropped.
I hope I don't get flamed or anything for this; but I agree that it's quite crappy to let your performance drop like that. You can't do that against Ecuador (and Sweden can't [composite word including 'f*ck'] around the first half of the game).
I do think however that England will get through the first knock out round.
And Sweden has a great chance to do the same.
We played a draw with Argentina in the WC-02, and we played a draw against Holland in the EC-04, and now we drew with England. We can, with a bit of luck, beat the bigger nations.
And Germany hasn't really been tested this World Cup.
Go Sweden!
Can't believe I'm still here.

I had no idea that his volley had become so notorious on the net - I've not seen one of them.

Pretty decent fair as well.

Why? It's all true. :)

Thought Hargreaves played quite well in the first half. Hey, Sven - look what happens if you actually play a ******* holding midfielder!

And Jesus H, what's the ******* point of even taking Theo? The whole "secret weapon / something different / new options" argument is complete ******* bollocks really, isn't it?

You know who would have been a great player to bring on when Owen went down? Or when Rooney went off?

Jermain Defoe, maybe? But no. And the player that got picked ahead of him didn't even get a ******* look in anyway!

[composite word including 'f*ck']'s sake. Why even bother?
Grrr. Argh.

And from the way I see Crouch plays, there's a danger that he will be suspended for yellow cards (luckily for him and some others cards from group stage don't count in play-offs). If that would happen, with Owen out (how is he, BTW), what then, I wonder? Rooney as a sole forward? Joe Cole as second?

Talk is that Owen's facing anywhere between half an hour and nine months out. Yay for media conjecture!

Scan today, we'll have a better idea later. :)

Owen out may be a good thing tactically. Aside from him being fairly poor of late and fairly undroppable, it could enforce a new formation.

Hopefully one that involves five in midfield with one of them actually being vaguely defensive. As good as Lampard and Gerrard are, neither of them bother actually defending, but Sven's scared to drop either of them. Losing Owen means we can go with one up front, play both Lamps and Stevie G, plus play an actual holding player (preferably Carrick, though probably Hargreaves).
Grrr. Argh.

The thing is, because hargreaves didn't play utter turd and get ripped every which way yesterday, everybody instead thinks he was great.

He gave away feckin loads of freekicks.

He wasn't in the drop out zone between the pen spot and the edge of the box for all those half cleared corners that got shot back in.

He did eff all useful with the ball.

Carrick is much better then him *biased*.

Carragher is absolute crap as a fullback. I used to think he was **** full stop, actually it looks like Houllier was just a clueless **** and that he was playing a good CB way out of position - Carra is not just crap on the ball, he's also totally **** going forward. The lack of decent full back support plays a large factor in why Beckham was ineffective (and is often inaffective) last night.

Carra has no pace whatsoever. Drop him please. If you're going to play ******* Hargreaves then play him at rightback for ****s sake.

A. Cole. You are quick. You are left footed. Stop being a ****, get to the line and cut it back along the floor. When you go inside you look *****. You look scared man, like you dont know what the [composite word including 'f*ck'] to do! So do what you ******* do for Arsenal.

MAKES ******* SENSE!

I swear that greaseball **** Sven is deliberately doing this. Our FA are *****. £5M a year for a shitting idiot clueless ****. I've heard that he's lost the squad bar his '7 faves'.

****s sake, Steve Mcclaren is **** as well.

I wish we had Hiddink or Scolari. Jesus ******* christ.

Scalari is a biggotted **** so i'm gald we don't have him.

Hiddink on the other hadn was so obvioulsy the right choice it is untrue, but we can lay the majority of the blame for that with our dickhead tabloid media and their hilarious suggestion that the best way to run a national football team is to insist that it gets its next boss from Charlton, Bolton, or Boro.

Rubbish.

anyway - the suggestion in the Guardain today was that Gerrard could play as an aux striker with a holding player in the mix (be it Hargreaves or Carrick), at this stage i don't think that is a bad idea as it lets both Stevie G and Lamps on the pitch without shackling either of them too much. Plus i think Gerrard and Tabloid Wayne will link up well.

then again we wouldn't have to do this if Sven's sqaud selection had made some actual sense.

keep Crouch as a sub - he' snot terrible but once he is on all the team do is chuck long balls up the pitch and we lose possession.

i feel sorry for Walcott, you could see him sitting there thinking "Why the **** am i here?"

Logically, yes. But then what would Sven do if he needed to bring on a different forward? Be it due to injury or tactics. He'd have to bring on Theo. Which he blatantly doesn't want to do. Ever.

******* moron that he is.

True dat. He was alright. Looked quite good at times. Doesn't equate to worth the place in the team, though. And he went ******* missing after the halftime oranges. As did any sense of ******* defensive calm.

I mean what the hell did Sven do to them in that tunnel? Give them a line of ******* coke each?
Grrr. Argh.

Lamps is pushing his luck.

He's had the most shots in the WC. He hasn't scored.

I'd have Stevie G in the hole and Rooney pushed right up.

I'd give Lampard another chance with Carrick. Lennon RW.

Beckham can play RB.

If he has to face a pacey winger in later rounds, put him in the middle for Carrick or Lampard... Touch wood Neville will be fit by then.

Cant wait till Sven ****s off.

How many of Frank's shots have actually hit the ******* target?

It's obscene.

What's that sailing over the bar?
Is it from Lampard?
Is it from Lampard?

But dont worry we have walcott! - ffs its not a ******* trainning camp for young talent, this is the WC!!!!

Fell really sorry for Owen, he wont be back till xmass, so thats another season gone for him, he wont start a full one til 07-08 and then hes 28 - another year at ****** Newcastle and hopefully a transfer to a club that can win stuff and he would be 30, carrear over.

U need to allow Roony to get back and play with the ball, he always plays in the hole as he link the mid to the forwards so well.

Oh well, [composite word including 'f*ck'] it, sven is a dick.

I gotta say lads.. you know your football. I do wonder tho, did the guy 8 years ago get as much flack as Svennis? Can't be all fun to go back to the home-village in England if you lost the world-cup.. ;)
