The Blyville area sounds like a place to check out if it's barneytastic. Have sent one of my guys that way - he's in Locketside.

Humans killing other humans can get high-level human players after you; some of the groups are dedicated to chasing down PKers and post bounties on them and stuff.

EmVee's advice is good. If you are having a hard time finding ammo maybe consider picking up melee skills. Axes pwn.
Def get Flak Jacket, at least 1 First Aid kit (other players often heal you, but you can't rely on that, as if you get infected you're ******), if you're going guns get a shotgun (can also be found in bars), if melee get an axe.

My scout is my best char:
Free Running, Melee Axe tree maxed, Construction, Bodybuilding, Firearms Shotgun tree maxed. He can run, gun, chop and build.

My cop got killed. :( And he'd been doing so well, too.

My zombie keeps getting headshot before he can level up. He wants braaains.

Blytheville kicked off again, the other cop shop got rushed and all the know safezones were boarded - Zombie invasion! I was actually getting ****** up as I logged in, stroke of luck there! Managed to beat a safe retreat but have no ammo left and am infected - might just be able to blag being cured as I found our nearby safehouse - really would like to get healed as my new guy is inches away from levelling up and I've only been playing with him for 2 days.

Gah - someone told Emvee that the Fire Department a couple of blocks away was in serious danger, so I tooled over there, killed 2 out of 3 zombies, levelled, and got back to find they have heavily barricaded the whole block and I can't get in anywhere. I have 1AP and 1 shotgun shell left for any zombie that comes close. Bring it.

Some fool's heavy barricaded Frank's police station, so he can't get out. He's using his imprisonment constructively and searching for ammo though.

Someone revivified my zombie, which I really don't mind, gives me an op to level and get bodybuilding.

Don finally levelled, and as a fireman, I gave him unarmed combat so he should now be a demon with his axe. Might head to south blythville over the next few days.

You can get out - if you just click on an adjacent square you'll be outside that building (unless you have Free Running in which case you'll be inside that building)...however, you won't be able to get back in.

People keep taking DNA samples from me. What the hell.

And where the hell is everybody?! Whenever I get ready to eat some brains all I see on the map is "Zombie", "11 Zombies", "3 Zombies" :(

The humans are mostly taking shelter in buildings. You need to break into the buildings and eat some brains. Talk to the Ridleybank Resistance Front on the urbandead forums for zombie support.

I made a new character and made a break for the fort which has an armoury it was covered in zombies and no safe houses were in range.

My cop is back from the dead, and my other guy is in South Blythville and bagged a zed straight off.
I tried to get near the cop shop you guys mentioned, but all the buildings near there are too heavily barricaded to get in from the street and I wasn't fannying around trying to find a way in with all those zombies on the streets, so I backtracked a bit but am currently safe inside a building.

Some git revived my zombie. He just cannot get a break.

How's everyone else doing?

Well, Julian moved out of South Blythville as the place is a total ******* war zone with no available cop shops to get into for ammo. He's now in nearby Dartside in a St Matthew's Hospital (top left):

There are Z's all over this little corner, some dudes have already told us roughly 20 Zombies are rushing the Necrotech building next door, so who knows when our place will go down. Luckily I have lots of points to leg it, but Have fook all ammo - there are 3 cop shops within 10 APs to check out, going to hustle for those around 1pm GMT.

My Zombie has gone ape, well, had. After I levelled, I killed 2 [composite word including 'f*ck'] and was generally on a total roll. Then some zombie hunting **** totally raped my experience back down + killed me. The ******* ****!

Made a break for Blakesley Grove Police Dept. which is proper safe and full of dudes. Spent about 35 turns searching and all I found was a pile of ***** - flare gun, pistol with 4 clips and a flack jacket. Not amused, was hoping for a proper ammo stash. Anyway, I wont be getting eaten any time soon - I hope.

Emvee and Jezzie are doing well - building XPs steadily, stocking up on ammo and blasting Zs.

Jimmy Carr got caught trying to find a way in through heavy barricades this morning, ended up sheltering in a church and as of 11:40 he's a corpse again. Dammit, revives are hard to come by in FV.

Frank is tooled up and ready to hunt some zombs. Hopefully I can level up and get free running since most buildings are full of heavy barricading fools.

Don is doing ok for himself, holed up in a hospital, heading on his way to South Blythville.

Gregory is alive again, and fully intends to get bodybuilding and a flak jacket before getting back into his brain eating gig.

Frank Remmington is currently running with the DHPD, in Dunell Hills. They're in the wiki under human groups. I'm not a member, but they do provide a god bit of shelter and backup for any who find them.

Clocking along nicely with Ol' Julian, he's killing Zombies often and levelling up nicely. He's now a crack shot with a pistol and is brimming with ammo.

Word.

Actually read a bit about the game today so now I should be able to avoid getting headshot all the frikkin time with Mike the Zombie and turn into a killer corpse.

I'm confident that Julian Dicks will NEVER get zombiefied :D

Thinking of ditching Mike as he's screwed really - is far better to start off as a Zombie and get the attack bonus as opposed to levelling up as a human that got turned into a corpse.

My guys are all doing good. Was expecting them to be dead after 2 days off, but nah, all's still groovy. Apart from the lack of cigarette machines in Malton, that is.

I was well tooled up - not now, just used up all my ammo killing Zs, one had bodybuilding & a flak jacket so is probably going to be a bit gutted, esp as I had to take him down with a flaregun in the end :D

Since yesterday I've gone from being level 1 with Julian Dicks to level 4 - totally forgot you could level on 75 xp as a civ, had been simply running round collecting ammo and waiting for impending zombie doom.

Made a new Z, Michael Barrymore - he got killed in 2 seconds, literally saw the little name chasing me. Bit him a bit, but got Pwned.

Quality guy there. We killed some characters of his that were zombified, on account of them hanging around our ase, which is in no way a revive zone. He actually flamed me personally :D I was at work so couldn't save that one for posterity.

Ace, just gained Headshot with my scout! Also have been spraypainting. Banksy is my hero.

Cop is still rocking, zombie is still crap. Although I did chase some guy for 4 squares and bite him a couple of times before he got into a building, so that was funny. He must have been crapping himself. :D

Couldn't play for 2 days as I had food poisoning. ***** broke in and ate Julian Dicks, not happy about that. It's WAR! Counted ****** 32 of the Z ***** in the 9 square block that rushed my ass. Also, my decent Zombie got revived. Went into a cop shop to get a flack jacket, instead fond ****** loads of ammo. Might go out and get killed in a blaze of glory.

Other new Cop got ate, he's standing outside a Necrotech building waiting fo a revive now.

New Zombie managed to stay alive for 2 days without getting killed - A few Zs in my gang munched on my ass, so I returned the favour. It's Zombie Ethics that, helping your fellow Z to level up without getting ****** up :)
