I think Silwood is ATT - I've seen ViceGrip and sp666ky here, I'm sure they're ATT guys.

OK, my Foulkes Village safehouse is the factory inbetween the Boon Museum and the Freeguard building. A bit left of centre on the suburb map. It's near to lots of good buildings and is a bit of an effort for zombies to get to, and I've been based here for 2 days now with no probs.
Though currently can only be got into with free running, as barricades have been maxed out by the high-level player who's been sharing my pad.
Happy to move if you want.
Hey, I hope you moved as I just checked in the Fone Arms and there's one dead body there...

My cop is in the Gillespie cinema, lower right corner of scarletwood. Quite a few zombies around.

anglo, that'd be cool. Axes kick undead ass.

Impy, what kind of char are you? Some starting chars are crap at combat. Everyone has a best way to get XP to start with. Once you get enough XP to buy your first skill, game gets easier.
Don't run out of action points outside.

Okay KingMob, I'm inside your safehouse now - it was a bit hairy, I didn't have many APs, 52XP and no Free Running, but I ran into a few zombies outside the hospital and blew the crap out of them until I had the XP required to buy Free Running and get inside. Of course, now I'm low on ammo and APs :(

On the plus side, there's loads of zombies outside to practise on :) I'll have Advanced Pistol Training in a day or two.

Awesome. Apols for having to get free running, the barricades were maxed by the other guy.
It's a well handy skill to have tho. Makes zombie-hunting a bit more proactive and safer, and can halve the AP needed to get in buildings.

There's a cop-shop for ammo 2 blocks to the left...I need to pick up a shotgun myself.

Sweet - watch out though, there are Zs to the W and NW.

Jezzie is still holed up in Wray Heights - she got halfway to Scarletwood but found a block where seemingly every building was heavily barricaded, Zs everywhere and had to turn back to the nearest hospital to rest up.

If anyone is around the middle of the city, Emvee is hanging in Shackleville and he's just found a gun. Looking to go zombie hunting in Stanbury Village.

[edit]Oops I missed your warning and went straight into the cop shop - hit a zombie with my shotgun and got straight back out of there.

Typical. First time I've lost that guy in ages.
The other guy that was with us said there was a zombie rush on and bugged out. Too late a warning.

Cop is scarletwood is still groovy. Tho he's had to watch Saw II about 4 times now and still can't find a ciggy machine.

Well, the firestation got overrun, Don stayed to try and help out, killed a zombie, cleared out dead bodies, shut the doors, but others got in and did a load of us. Currently waiting somewhere that claims to offer revivifications.


Edit: Frank Remmington is now alive and uninfected! If I ever find the guy who did it I'll have to thank him.

Ooh, so is Don. Cool, I'm loving this game btw, thanks for drawing my attention to it :D

No worries. I like it as you can only play it for like 10 minutes a day, keeps it interesting.

Mkvenner is back among the living and is saving up for a civillian skill.
Richard Fell is eating mouldy popcorn and emptying off the old pistol clip at the zombie neighbours. Luckily, he's found a new film to watch - Debbie does the Dead.

My zombie char is pretty crap tho.

My zombie is a bit bollocks, but I'm getting used to laying down till somebody walks past. Slowly getting towards level 2, where I'll be able to pick up xp more easily.

I don't know if people can target revives, but I went in the Necrotech building and had Mkvenner mention that zombie Jimmy Carr was outside looking for a new lease on life.

Scarletwood has fewer zeds in it now. Ran out of ammo when I'd almost killed a zombie, frustrating. Probably shouldn't have been playing the you = Murphy, me = Boddicker game with it tho...

Mob, I'd get out of that NT building right now if I were you - they've sprayed NO REVIVES HERE on the wall outside, the zombies are pissed off and they've broken in. I just nipped inside to see you squaring off against a zombie or two - I'm going to try and get the scientists to revive me by going "Mrh?" at them. If that doesn't work I'll eat their brains. Thanks for the help though.

I had never managed to kill anybody before today - just made a new character and totally lucked out, killing 2 zombies with 2 shots.

My new guy is going to level up way quicker then my shabby Zombie.

Pissing dicks - Just had the cop shop my new character was holed up in invaded by a load of the ***** - legged it to the other cop shop two doors down!

Mass war and evac going on!

2 minutes later I decided it might be a good idea to go back to my old safe house and smack up the Zombie hordes with my available ammo - all gone, lots of dead people.

Some dick revivified my zombie after I levelled him up. Bit annoyed, going to have to jump out of a window.

Erm... I actually forgot to go back into the Police Station. Went back in, it's still kicking off. Managed to kill another Zombie, like being a civ much more now that I know how to actually do stuff!

If anybody is in the area and wants to get involved, it's all happening at the Lovelock Plaza Police Dept in South Blythville. I'm shacked up in the Gotch Plaza Dept 2 squares away, going by the name of Julian Dicks.

Foulkes Village is where we're mostly at - tho' I've ducked into Ruddlebank just to grabs some ammo and stuff. I'm still stuck a bit in Wray Heights - every time I went near Scarletwood I got killed or knackered, but now I have a shotgun :D

Basically, what I found out is:

As a Civ, i'ev been a cop and a Private. I need ammo dammit!

I had no idea how to get it. The trick is this: Go into a copshop and be prepared to spend 20 turns searching. You should pick up about 4-5 clips, about 25 odd bullets.

There are a few message boards around, use these to track the rucks. Make your way towards them, you'll invariably find a bunch of fokkers to mess with on the way.

Make sure you have enough turns to get out, attack a guy 20 odd times and then get inside. Do this for a bit and you'll get enough xp to buy new skills, this will help the game get easier and easier.

Essential things every survivor should have: Flak jacket (PDs, Malls), First Aid Kit (Hospitals, Malls), Fireaxe (FDs), Pistol or Shotgun (PDs, Malls), Ammo for both (same), Free Running, Construction and Basic Firearms Training.

Essential things every zombie should have: Flak Jacket (PDs, Malls), Baseball Bat or other blunt weapon, Bodybuilding, Diagnosis (human skills that come in very handy as one of the undead), and whatever zombie skills you like the look of.

Just my advice - take it or leave it. Only two out of three of my guys have Free Running, none have Construction yet and one doesn't even have a weapon...though admittedly she would find it a lot easier going if she did...
