Definitely. Franco's a good little actor, and matched DeNiro when he starred alongside him in City By the Sea.

I don't think Christensen's a bad actor neccessarily, its just that he doesn't do so well without thoughtful direction. (to be fair, Portman is also pretty vacuous in SW).

yeah, afer typing that i wondered if maybe Franco would also have sucked just becasue of Lucas's amazing ability to darw the charisma out of anyone on screen who isn't a green muppet.

But i seriusly can't imagine Farnco delievring some lines as badly as Christian did.

Ihave nothing against Venom. He's not a black clone - he's an alien organism bonded to a hapless sod. And he's got fangs! So he's not asimple 'repaint'. Even in the terrible Spidey cartoon, Venom rocked.

Yeah, now I recall Sandman and especially the Mudman-fiasco...

My fav. Spidey villain is still the Lizard,though it'd be hard to make him a main villain. He'd be a good side-plot though, considering Dr. Connors already made appearances in the movies.
