Has anyone mentioned Longtooth yet? I really hate him. Pincher and Doubleheader too, now I come to think about it. The "Junior Pretenders" were rubbish.

i'm not entirely sure if this is allowed, but Longtooth doesn't really bother me.

at least no more than the rest of the pretenders;

agree about the stunticons' as well - those boys have potential.

Stanglehold... in too many cool stories for me to mind too much.

crap death for both him and Octo though seeing as they are supposed to be nails. Damn G2 power fluctuations.

Hmm,I always figured the animals/droids were simply downsized TFs,like Micros, who underwent the Targetmaster process. I think we'd have seen them in the comic if it hadn't been cut short.,..

Rubbish,Battletrap is the great survivor! I mean, out of the old Mayhems, only he and Carnivac lived... then, he survived Unicron, survived the demons while they eat Beavis, even survived getting trashed by Prowl on Klo. Heck, he survived the Cybertronian's assault on the Warworld!

-Where did he die, then? In G2 he was shown with Starsky , wounded but alive.

-Of course, his toy still suck. I have a KO version that I have dubbed "Cyrano de Battletrap" for the simple reason that it has a nose Pinoccio would envy...

Seems I wasn't the only one upset when I found out the toy doesn't have those...

Wildrider had a quite funny short story in the Earthforce. It ended quite tragically for him, though... wonder if Megatron considered that from now on Menasor can only jump around on one leg?

Yeah Longtooth sucked (as did the rest of the "junior headmasters"). Mainly because they didn't really get any backstory, they just appeared... Longtooth sucked most because he got the most page time and i just couldn't really give a flying [composite word including 'f*ck'] about him.

Battletrap rocked tho.

The autobot junior headmasters were ok, as they were given a decent amount of characterisation, the con one's weren't so lucky... except fangry, he got a bit of page-time, but he was a tit.

The sentimental in me likes him (I've got the toy, even if the head has been lost in the mists of time, plus his vehicle mode is very similar in basic shape to my old metro), but, Daydreaming? Longtooth was a bit crap. Least favourite Pretender (and that includes Groundwater, High Five and The Other One out of the first toy wav - uh, volunteers.)

Battletrap is wicked. I love his design and his role as 'random jobsworth Decepticon' who's just hard enough to end up on the Mayhems and the fringes of important battles. Starscream saves his ass, so he has to be worth summat.
And Flywheels has always been pimp, you.

Meh, just write Krok off as someone killed on Klo who couldn't be recovered, or on that shuttle Skullgrin was driving that has its crew wiped out and then explodos.
He was interesting but rather shallow and shoe-horned in, no?

Octopunch and Stranglehold did look hella stupid, but that 'Shut Up' black and white story makes them (and Bludgeon) look class. Love that sick grin on Octopunch's face in that story.
Quite liked them pair, actually. All that 'My Grimlock and Fort Max beat your Prime!' attitude was fun.

I really like Micromasters, but Dreamwave absolutely destroyed Big Daddy and his seemingly-retarded Patrol for me. Destroyed.
What a bunch of whining, idiotic losers.
They also had a good go at ruining the Battle patrol as well, IIRC.
