If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Yep. Watched it at the cinema as part of a friend's birthday party, back in the way-back-when.
For my birthday, we watched Flight of the Navigator.

Not me - I wasn't even born back then.
Yep, it had a 3D spaceship, kinda like the character stuff in the Energon cartoon. And the lightsab - um - sword hilt.
The swearing made me laugh too - a bit like that 'p*ss off' line in Watership Down did. It made us kids laugh like drains (gurgle!).

As we're on the subject of old shows, and I don't want to get in trub for starting a new topic, I bought these old videos at a secondhand shop for 99p each today. They all work great too. Pity I was actually trying to find a copy of Starchaser: Legend of Orin. I didn't, of course.
Gobots: Transformers' simple cousin:

Centurions: This HAS to be made into a live-action movie one day -but without annoying kids saving the day a'la Thunderbirds. Man and machine - POWER X-TREME!

Yeah, Gobots were pre-TF for me too. I had bloody LOADS! But not anymore
![Sad :(](images/smilies/frown.gif)
- I think I swapped them at school for some TFs. Good bargain, although sad I got rid of Leader-1, Cy-kill, that red car with the weird face, and (snigger) Scooter. I could buy them all again from the import shop near me if I wanted. I only ever had one Rock Lord though.
Never had any Centurion toys - I'll have to scour the 'net for some. Anybody have a favourite Centurion? I kinda like Wild Weasle (the motorbike).

Rock Lords is truly bobbins. It's the most laughable movie I've been so far unable to shift on eBay.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I take it you mean the toys? They DO look like something the dog left after a squat.

No, the video that you posted above. I've tried to sell it, no reserve, a couple of times and no-one's bitten. It's truly awful, I really couldn't watch it again.

Centurions. I loved that. Read the comic as well.
To the power X-Treme!
It's them we have to blame for Rob Liefield's career and all that dodgy X-Treme marketing crap, you know.
It is.
It is.
It is.
Oh well, no it isn't then.
I remember having a quite a hard time trying to pick a favourite Centurion Guy. I think I liked Green Guy the best first (best first? silly phrase, never catch on) coz I just liked his character. Then I liked Yellow Guy coz his powersuit thingies always caused the most destuction and just looked like a lot of fun to use. Then I liked Blue Guy the best because he gets to fly and go into space and stuff. And that made him the coolest.
Wow, it was like I got stupider the more I got into it.
And it had a red-haired woman and a space-monkey.

I forgot that! Kevin Smith - eat your ass out!
I hated the blue guy (Ace McCloud, I think) - he was a nob. Jake Rockwell (the green (Ranger)) was the bike guy. He had a dog which wore a missile launcher (hey! RSPCA!).Max Ray was the yellow one - he went underwater. And looked like Tony Stark.
Actually, just 'cos I mentioned Power Rangers there, don't you think Centurions would make a good similar live-action TV show now?
And if I'd known you hated the video MV, I'd have got you to post it to me - I have a little collection of old 80s shows on tape: He-Man, Mask, Terrahawks, Star Fleet etc.

GOD! You're right! I only watched this a couple of days ago - how did I miss that? And the monkey girl. I tell you - these tablets are screwing with my brain.
And an ickle Karl? Cute as bunnies!
