In the Matrix Flame Chamber:
Custodain of the Flame: "Oh no! The flame has gone out! Optimus Prime, sacred holder of the spirit of Primus must be DEAD! Or in another dimension, I suppose."
(looks around and sniffs)
CotF: "Hmm... what's that gassy smell?"
(Xaaron walks in with a doobie)
Xaaron: "Hey there CotF! Have a bang on this!"
CotF: "That explains the gassy smell. Oh, wait a minute... No, Xaaron! Don't toke!"
*BANG!!!*

I wonder, if throught the Matrix Flame Xaaron and co. knew the Matrix wasn't destroyed, why didn't they sent an expedition to track it down?
Btw, the Bot Resistance was splintered into semi-independent cells, the leaders were propably pretty much free to choose their actions, but they must have had contact with each other to coordinate their action.
PLUS: after Scrounge delivered Soundwave's message to La Resistance, Perceptor must have told every other group about it, since Xaaron, Magnus and the Wreckers already knew that OP was alive in Target 2006 and Prey.

To let you know what's available? Useful.
Back on topic: I doubt that the various Autobot factions on Cybertron never run into each other - battles draw attention. They probably exchange information when they occasionally cross paths.
Perhaps they have a website...

Well, I did consider that, but it seemed too obvious an answer. I thought we were thinking of other ways to get the message out - not everyone has Blaster on their team.

It's not like they couldn't just clone Blaster... I mean heck, Megatron cloned Prime well enough that Teletran couldn't tell the difference between the clone and the real Prime, so I don't see why the Autobots can't do the same with Blaster.
Then again, that was in the US cartoon and not the UK comic...
The UK comic was pretty kick-ass.

Maybe they had bots whose job was to trudge through the sewers carrying info between resistance cells.

Why do robots need sewers?
And cloning Blaster? You'd soon have a Cybertron 'Hood' with loads of Blasters and Jazz' wearing 'bling'. Good? Bad?

Dunno. It was Simon Furman's idea - ask him.

Surely they'd be into recycling more - spare parts and all that. And the liquid waste that robots like TFs produce probably can't be recycled.
Then again, perhaps the sewers are taking the stuff to processing plants to be dumped or something.
That'd be a lot of oil and stuff after a while. Be a bit of a bugger if the war blew up something near the sewers, eh?

Well not 'oil' as we know it... oil is an organic material made from fossilised plants, which ispretty unlikely tohappen onCybertron.
Also, if we can believe the Scraplets-story, water is almost unknown onCybertron (though many Tech-Specs also indicate this). So what liquid do TFs use for cooling?
As for sewers, wellCybertron was built by Primus, remember? They could have been access tunnels and the TFs usedthemfor waste relocation.

But if there wasn't any water on Cybertron, how did GB Blackrock and the Neo Knights avoid dying of thirst? I'd take the comment as meaning that the cure for scraplets had been long forgotten, and was now assumed to be a rare substance.

Yeah, but didn't Blaster or someone say "Water? Never heard of it" or something like that? That would mean that they didn't have water on Cybertron at all, and not that any cure had been forgotten, 'cos it wasn't worded like that. (once again I'm going from hazy memory of the comic).
Anyway, isn't there lots of ice floating around space? I'm sure the TFs must have come across some at some time.
And the oil could have come from the plants at Cybertron's organic core (if you believe the Beast Wars stuff).
Not entirely sure what I'm arguing against/for now.

That's Wide Load's line. Given that he's only just come to Earth, there's no reason he should connect the Earth word "water" with any substance he knows about. So it can be read to allow water on Cybertron.
