Man, that Don 'cameo' is really cool - and well-deserved too, seeing as he designed it.

Could you tell me about how much does he weigh in kilogramms? I'm planning on buying some - OP and Megs cost about 15$ on ebay, but I'd like to know if postage would be high...

I can't say exactly how much it weighs (can't find the bathroom scale :D ) but I'd estimate somewhere between 1 1/2 and 2 pounds. Not sure what that is in kilos. BTW, the Prime figure rocks hard but the Megatron isn't worth it IMO, certainly not for full price.

Picked up the Cybertron repaint of the deluxe Armada Prime the other day. The paint job is excellent, and as many times as this TF has been released, the toy is very tight, no signs of mold degradation. Too bad he doesn't come with any sort of gun.

Snagged a Cybertron Quickmix at my local TRU today. Great detail, decent articulation, though the mixer/cannon arm makes him lean a bit in bot mode. Nice to see that the end of the Galaxy Force/Cybertron line isn't a complete parade of repaints...

i haven't shopped for tf's in a while, but i did pick up some cybertron figures while i was away. i plan on buying at least $750- more before the holiday season. lets see for the ones i have now from last months shopping... umm...
lugnutz, swerve, wreckloose, swindle, mudflap, evac, cybertron deffence hotshot, cybertron deffence redalert, and longrack. i got those in a spending spree online.
i blew through my cash in like an hour, but i couldn,t find the ones i wanted. i wanted nemisis breaker, scourge, wingsaber, and primus. but they were nowhere to be found.
i'll be shopping for them sometime this month.

:D :D FINALLY found Alternators Prime, and at retail too!! Snagged him at a local Target. Also picked up Cybertron Menasor at another Target.

Cybertron's about petered out; hopefully we'll be seeing the TF Classics on the shelves & pegs soon...

I haven't seen ANY Alt Optimuses yet. The only thing I've seen new in the past three months that wasn't a repaint was a single Mirage.

Fairly good-sized haul lately: Galaxy Force Optimus Prime (fodder for a minor kitbash), Cryo Scourge, Cybertron Sky Shadow, Brakedown GTS, and the KB exclusive Railbots. Oh, and a Yellow Scrapmetal!

Recent additions: Classics Op, Megs, Rodimus, Bumblebee, and Starscream; also Shadow Recon Minicon Team and a couple more yellow Scrapmetals. I'm thinking I'll get one more red and one more yellow, and between the Scrapmetals and all the Energon Terrorcons I've got, I'll have a nice little Decepti-fodder army going.

Got another yellow Scrapmetal today, which brings my count up to three red and five yellow; I'll probably quit there unless they get cheap soon. Also picked up Hightail (excellent motorcycle mold) and a Titanium Scourge. For a shell-former, Scourge is pretty sweet. I'm gonna pick up at least one more and have them flanking Galvatron.

Got another red and yellow Scrapmetal, making four red and six yellow; can't decide if I want to even it out at six and six. Yeah, I'm weak. Also got Classics Mirage the other day, and damn if the Classics just don't keep getting better! Oh, and I got another Titanium Scourge.

Also picked up the redeco ARC-170 and am debating on whether or not to get the SWTF Millenium Falcon...

Got Classics Grimlock yesterday; went in to my local TRU on a goof and there he was, hanging with a Mirage and a Bumblebee on the very picked-over shelves/pegs. Very nice fig, IMO he should be bigger tho. Also got Night Rescue Team, Demolition Team, and Dinobot Team. Most of them have very clever transformations, and one or two should have been bigger. Oh, and I picked up the newer of the Darth Vader Star Wars TFs, very nice paint job, minor remolding, head is a bit too small but otherwise pretty cool.

Picked up a Galaxy Force Vector Prime off of a clearance rack at WalMart, and promptly relabelled him as a Decepticon (thanks reprolabels!!) when I got him out of the box. Box was beat to hell, but the TF was fine. Might have to break out some silver paint and add a few highlights.

Also got a Star Wars TF Millenium Falcon the other day. Aside from the fit-and-finish problems that have plagued the SWTF line from day one, it's a fairly decent TF, and a clever idea IMO. The batteries were removed, tho, as sounds are sucky.

Now howzabout a remolded Primus as the Death Star??

Found a Classics Jetfire today.. mmm, case fresh!! IMO he could stand to be a bit bigger, but otherwise, this is one sweet TF. Joints are tight, loads of articulation, guns up the wazoo... An excellent homage to both the original G1 figure and the G1 cartoon version.

Saw the Magnus/Skywarp two-pack also, prolly gonna pick it up. It's only $20 US, which is like buy Magnus and get Skywarp free. If I get it, Magnus is gonna get renamed and slapped with a couple of Decepticon stickers...

Cryo Scourge! :D

Got Cybertron Menasor last week, officially completing my Giant Planet trio - just need Lugnuts and I'll have all the Cybertron on-show TFs... not counting the Armada remolds.

Picked up the Magnus/Skywarp pack today. The deco on Skywarp is most excellent, and the joints are TIGHT!! Magnus is nice too, though a bit more color wouldn't have hurt. I think I'm gonna paint up the smokestack/gun to match Classic Op tho, the plain black just doesn't work for me...

Got Titanium Rodimus Prime a couple of days ago, along with Classics Ramjet and the Dirt Digger, Predator Attack, and Clear Skies Minicon teams. Ramjet is nice; it has a few changes from the Starscream mold but transforms the same. He could have used a bit more paint detail IMO. Rodimus has a nice transformation, but I'd have liked a bigger gun and wing. Haven't cracked the minicons yet, prolly later today...

Today's haul is an (oversized) mixed bag of non-TF stuff:

1/100 Force Impulse Gundam - got it on the cheap because the box was in admittedly crummy condition
Bandai Japan GekiToujya, before Bandai US butchers it for next year's Power Rangers
Two Souchaku Henshin Kamen Riders, which are 4-inch figures that come with diecast metal armor and joints up the wazoo.

Picked up the Star Wars TFs "Saesee Tiin Jedi Starfighter" and "Clone Pilot Republic Gunship" today. The Jedi fighter's transformation is fairly straightforward, but the Gunship's is really quite clever. Both are well detailed and faithful to the SW ships; unfortunately, the loose joint problem that has plagued this line continues.

Well, today I got my MP-05 Megatron. He doesn't have much metal period and he lacks the detail the previous Masterpieces carried. I was suprised to find that the scope has a working targeting lens AND the LED light. His gun is way too big, he has too much loose kibble that pops off a lot when transforming and posing him, and his legs are too skinny. A paper-thin clip broke off of the area around the trigger within a few hours after getting him, but it doesn't affect the gun mode at all. He's a nice figure for your collection, but he pales in comparison to MP-01 and MP-03. He isn't worth $100. Maybe $80, but not $100.
