I don't understand why Impactor isn't his trademark purple colour.

It's not like that figure has any sort of colour coordination going on.

Wasted opportunity IMO. Very disappointing.

But seriously, it's a Bruticus remold. It's already the FOURTH use of the mold. It's just a matter of time. TFCC is already drooling.

Agree, altho the head moulds are nicer than i originally thought.

And at least Impy doesn't turn into the world's most heavily armoured laz-e-boy.

Having Xaaron's head on top of a combiner called Ruination isn't an arguement in favour of anything by the way - except possibly punching someone at Hasbro in the balls for being an idiot.

The Wreckers have risen from cult-UK comic favourites to working their way into most current iterations of Transformer lore. Last Stand of The Wreckers is arguably the most popular Transformer comic of recent time. I don't think its unreasonable to want decent Wreckers figures and the Generations line is the best place to put them.

BTW most of my dislike is because I don't like the Bruticus figures anyway. In fact pretty much anything based on the recent Transformer video games has been fugly, Megatron being an exception.

This was the biggest disappointment TF-wise at SDCC for me. I was following the live feed when they said "Generations Impactor, Topspin, and Twintwist".

Then they revealed this. Blegh.
