Judging from the chestplate that's going to be Rumble/Frenzy/whatever your taste is.

I'm not sure if it's any better or worse than what FansProject did. :ambiguous:

I went to a Toys R' us near me, they've got a good many Straxus in there, plus Darkwings aplenty.

Made me feel a bit of a **** for buying them from BBTS

Just curious. What's the price difference?

Don't even know - but adding shipping, possible customs duty, it's bound to be more.

Darkmount probably costs about a tenner in TRU. I reckon it probably cost about £15 or a bit more getting him from BBTS

It's £9.99 from TRU but when you add postage on top it comes to £14.95.

I went back to FP today and they'd restocked on Straxus, so finally picked one up (at £15). I dare say it's a very nice figure.

Must confess I'm a little disappointed how most the 'revised' decepticons are turning into tanks of some sort - can't hasbro have a little more imagination?

When are they going to do a new version of Shockwave??

I like 'em, but I'm pretty disinterested in buying. Not completely, but mostly. Mostly, I'm more choosy as to how I spend my money, I suppose.

Why couldn't this have all come about five-ten years ago, when I was more inclined to buy toys and had less bills? :p

That said- I bought an Arcee and a Bludgeon and probably will buy WFC Megs and probably Soundwave if I come across them at a time I have money.

I think it was Bludgeon that pissed me off by having stressed plastic right out of the box, though.

God ******* damn it all to ******* hell.

I am seriously going to spend over three hundred bucks so I can have Megs, Starscream and Grimlock MPs. And that's if the eBay bids don't go up.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

I really like some of the USB ones, like the PC mouse that turns into a dinosaur!

Saw a bunch of them in Tokyo and really wanted them :) along with an isobot, a really tiny laptop I found and Cloud Strife + motorcycle.

Got Grimmers a few weeks ago - opted for the TRU version as i don't really need an apron on my dinobot.

He is super, altho he is probably less impressive than some of the other MPs in that he is essentially just a larger, better articulated version of the original toy - i guess with the fact he doesn't have a 'realistic' alt mode it changes the game a bit, altho they could maybe have got more ambitous and given us a more techno organic T-Rex.

Anyway, still love him. Red eyes for me!

Is Megs any good? he looks abot spindley.

The design is fine, but the joints are weak and floppy, the metal tarnishes/rusts, and the plastic is brittle. He's the worst Masterpiece figure so far IMO. Not worth the price at all.

I'd disagree. Really love my megs, he's not perfect but not much takara could have done differently given the requirements.

I think I had a review of him up here ages ago?

Also opted for the TRU Grimlock, just as good, much cheaper. It's been the only new toy in a couple of years or so to get any sort of real joy out of me upon opening.
