What the heck is Rodimus Prime's alt mode? A camper van? Or some sort of modern day Mystery Machine?

Madly enough his entry on wikipedia actually says his alt mode is a futuristic RV (camper van) which is a cab-over pontiac firebird

Apart from being a beatnik bus it's even better as I can see absolutely no resemblance between Rodimus' 'cab' and a firebird in the slightest

I always wondered that, too. Sports cars don't have trailers. Maybe he's transporting horses? Horses and jam? Horses destined to become jam?

He's trying to lure some of the Maximals in with the shiny colours (ala the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) and then sell their hooves for glue!!

...I think he's an RV that was stolen and pimped out, or perhaps he should be left in the overused "Futuristic Vehicle" catagory.

I think as long as I've been part of the online fandom, lists have referred to Rippersnapper's alt mode almost exclusively as "land shark"...

I quite like him personally. He's just a lump. His alt mode is a shapeless lump, his robot mode is a shapeless lump, and he's generally the stupidest and most brainless transformer ever created.
