From the logo on the box it's intended to be a movie tie-in - but the toy itself is obviously G1. That right there is the win.

Anyone else hoping for a Megatron as well?

And, you are aware that they won't transform, aren't you?

Saying that, a Megaspud whose fusion cannon is actually a fully working spudgun would be very nice. :D

It's Mr Potato Head. Rearrange the parts and bam, gun form.

We never really 'got' spudguns here in Singapore - TRU imported them but I doubt they caught on.

Actually spotted one in Singapore, except that 1. it's US packaging but has a sticker underside indicating its release in Japan to tie in with the movie, and 2. the OP parts are more orange than red. Anyone else heard about that?
