What do you know... :o SEIZURE-MOVIE!

Hmm, I wager those knock-offs is a clever way of getting new raw-material cheap tho, right?

It seems to be the same line. The place I got this one at had Rahkshi, Toa Metru, Vahki, Toa Hordika and Piraka - only for some reason their Piraka come boxed instead of canisters.

No. From what I've heard, those parts break easily and it hurts your fingers to put them together. IMHO, anyone that makes knockoffs for sale should be crusified on a cross made of their melted junk. To quote a comedian I heard imitating an Irish pastor in a similar case, "Quit your screamin'. If it was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for you."

Personally... I wouldn't contaminate my Lego toolbox with knockoff parts, but if there's any way to customise this bugger into a blue Toa Hagah without compromising my official Lego parts, I'd go the whole hog and get more.

Now here's the review. Lower quality pastic, but you all knew that. Molding problems here and there, but nothing a knife can't fix up. The fit is rather sporadic, from really tight to really loose. Two major things about this version - the sockets for the ball joints actually have a part cut out to raise flexibility (which hasn't worked as stress lines still appear), and the mask, which is SUPPOSED to be translucentblue for the blue Toa Metru, was really opaque white painted blue. Guess I was right when I figured the final product would have toy comic potential.

Semi-offtopic: came back from this week's toyhunt with a handful of spare Bionicle parts, and was inspired to make this.

Gaaki in Toa Hagah form, borrowing Norik's shield just this once.
