Compared to a couple of years ago, I've noticed a sharp decline in Transformer prices both retail and aftermarket. I saw Binal Tech selling for $25-$30 down from the SRP of $50. Reissue have dropped too. Even ebay have about 6000 item posted. You can cut out 15% for misc. non Transformer toys. Transformer use to be second to Stars Wars. I remember auction posted would almost hit 12,000. It looks like Transformers have lost their heat, for know.

For resellers/scalpers/hoarders. Simple matter of there being more products in circulation competing for attention, plus more people buying and selling.
