The new HBS Convoy looks like it may be quite spectacular. It's only 3 inches tall, though.

It has as much die-cast as the US version. Chest and legs. Similar to the original G1 Optimus Prime (which was Chest and feet.)

the subject seems to be misleading, i was thinking that this post was about the 20th toy named Prime being made, not the anniversary. :wtf:

Thanks! I thought it was like with Binaltech/Alternators...

So is there any significant difference between the two versions? Just'cause I can propably get the Takara version in the future.

Hasbro: see through box, personnally I dont like the design, too kiddy like for a more adult collectable
short smokestacks, so that adult collectors wont choke on it :p
battle damage paint
comes with grey or black gun
inner box looks like the open trailer

Takara: classy box (again, my opinion)
long smokestacks (japanese fans know better than stuff anything in their eyes or mouths)
no battle damage paint
comes with grey gun only
has cardboard trailer you can fold up
